Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi sues New York over enforcement of immigration laws | Eastern NC Now

includes challenge to drivers licenses for illegal aliens

ENCNow

Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced that the US Department of Justice is filing a lawsuit against New York state and a number of state officials over their refusal to enforce US immigration laws.  Governor Kathy Hochul and state AG Letitia James are among the defendants.

This is the second lawsuit filed by Bondi against states to force the states to enforce federal immigration laws, particularly challenging "sanctuary state" laws.  The first lawsuit was against Illinois, Chicago, and Cook County.  In the New York lawsuit, New York City is not included as a defendant because Mayor Eric Adams is cooperating with federal officials on enforcement of immigration laws.

In the New York case, Bondi is particularly going after the state's program to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens and DMV officials are among the defendants.  Bondi is also seeking the DMV data on illegal aliens to help in immigration enforcement.

They really need to start indicting some of these amnesty whore Democrat politicians for the felony of harboring illegal aliens, a separate count for each one they harbor. Lock them up!
