Lennie Earl Tripp | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Mr. Lennie Earl Tripp, age 69, a resident of Vanceboro, NC died Monday March 3, 2025, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville.

    A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday March 7, 2025, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Pastor Mike Swain.

    Mr. Tripp was born in Beaufort County on August 10, 1955, son of the late Lenwood Earl Tripp and the late Ardelia Christine Williams Tripp. He attended West Craven High School and earned his Associate Degree in Applied Science from Brunswick Community College. On February 19, 1974, he married the former Beverly Kaye Potter who survives. Due to health issues, he retired from PCS Phosphate Corp in Aurora, as a general foreman. In his spare time, he loved reading and fishing, but his greatest enjoyment came from playing with his grandchildren.

    Surviving along with his wife Kaye of the home is a son: Clayton Tripp and his wife Ciara of Vanceboro; brother: Donnie Tripp and his wife Debbie of Vanceboro; grandchildren: Corinne Tripp and Cullen Tripp both of Vanceboro; and sisters-in-law: Janet Tripp of Chocowinity and Judy Tripp of Bridgeton.

    Mr. Tripp was predeceased, along with his parents, by two brothers: Larry and Billy Tripp.
