GASTONIA, NC     The quest to survive until Monday morning commenced Friday afternoon, as a local husband and father who works two jobs during the week began mentally preparing himself for a chaotic and stressful weekend with his wife and children.

Will Aaronson was finishing up his Friday as he started his weekly routine of making sure he was ready to face yet another grueling weekend with his family that would leave him exhausted and looking forward to the much-needed break a new work week would provide.

"I can do this. I can do this. Just make it through Saturday and Sunday, and it'll be Monday again," Aaronson was heard telling himself. "It's always rough, but once it's over, you can finally get back to work where you can relax."

Aaronson, who sources said had been spending his days at his full-time job and putting in hours every weeknight at a part-time job to make extra money for some time, was always relieved when Monday morning rolled around so he would have a chance to sit down.

"You just have to see Monday as the little light at the end of the tunnel," he explained. "It's not easy to make it and you have to put in a lot of effort, but with a little determination and hard work, it'll pay off with the weekend coming to an end."

At publishing time, Aaronson reportedly had to spend extra time psyching himself up after realizing he was scheduled to have Monday off for a three-day weekend.
