Climate alarmist Michael Mann made to pay $1 million in legal fees in failed lawsuit | Eastern NC Now

claimed defamation to try to intimidate conservative media

ENCNow

An attempt to intimidate conservative journalists by suing them for "defamation" has blown up in the face of climate alarmist guru, Dr. Michael Mann.  Instead, the court has now ordered Mann to pay the conservative publications and journalists a million dollars for their legal fees.  The court also ruled that Michael Mann had lied to the court about financial matters connected to the case.  That could lead to criminal charges of perjury.

Mann was one of the Climategate plumbers, whose emails conspiring to silence those with other opinions and to hide inconvenient climate facts were exposed. It was one of Mann's own emails that used the phrase "hide the decline" which has become synonimous with the Climategate scandal.

Mann was also the creator of the infamous hockey stick chart on global temperatures.  Other scientists had immediately complained that his chart clearly misrepresented known climate history that had already occurred.  Then, two Canadian researchers found that Mann's computer model would spit out a hockey stick shaped chart no matter what random data was fed into it.

Meanwhile, liberal "Undocumented Democrat" and fake "Republican" US Senator Thom Tillis is going to the mat in Washington, DC to oppose President Trump's cuts to wasteful "green energy" boondoggles.

Climate alarmists are always full of hot air. Of the dozens of scare stories they have told that have already passed the time they were supposed to come true, not a one of them has or even come vaguely close. They are liars that are often personally profiting off of their narrative. Michael Mann certainly has. They don't want their gravy train to dry up.

Thom Tillis has a big investment in a small bank in Mecklenburg County that specializes in loans to the wind and solar industries. Tillis' is screwing his own constituents to protect his own personal pocketbook. That is simply corrupt. We need TIllis to be G-O-N-E.

Traitor Thom Tillis is stabbing us in the back again on this wind / solar boondoggle. We need to take him OUT of office in 2026, hopefully in the primary, but if necessary in the general election.

Mann's lawsuit was what was called a SLAPP (Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation) lawsuit which are designed to intimidate people on the other side of an issue from speaking out on it. Undoubtedly some entity in the Climate Industrial Complex paid for Mann's attorneys in this lawsuit, but now the court is making Mann pay for the lawyers of the people he sued, to the tune of a million dollars. That is poetic justice and ought to help shut Mann himself up.
