Cynthia “Cindy” Joan White Mitchell | Eastern NC Now

    Cynthia "Cindy" Joan White Mitchell, age 66, a resident of Washington, NC died Friday October 10, 2025 at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital.

    No services will be held at this time.

    Cindy was born in Baltimore, MD on October 1, 1959 to the late John David White, Sr., and Jean Alethia Gilbert White. On Valentine's Day 1993 she married James David Mitchell. She worked as Quality Control for Grady White boats as long as her health allowed. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the beach, walking at the waterfront, watching Hallmark movies, dancing, crafting, and spending time with family. She loved life and loved the Lord.

    Survivors include her husband, David Mitchell, a son, Christopher Richardson and wife Cannady Lynn, two grandchildren, Jordan Sirrea-Skye Richardson, Brianna Autmn Breeze Richardson, two great grandchildren, Lukas Bentley Johnson, Kenzleigh Blayke Johnson, three step children, Elizabeth Anne Mitchell, James Justin Mitchell, Jessica Marie Gurganus, two step grandchildren, Logan Mitchell, Bethany Mitchell, three sisters, Sandy Dearman and husband Randy, of Alabama, Jeannie Kostreba and husband Tony of Georgia, Joanne Stultz and husband Ricky of Florida and a brother, John D. White, Jr. and wife Amanda of Florida.
