    Mr. Thomas Archbell Morrow, Sr., age 79, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday November 11, 202,5 at ECU Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday November 15, 2025, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Rev. Bryan Alphin.

    The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, until the funeral hour, at the funeral home.

    Mr. Morrow was born in Beaufort County on April 20, 1946, son of the late Jame Holland Morrow and the late Marie Moore Morrow. He was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School and completed his bachelor's degree in political science from UNC Chapel Hill. On December 11, 1975, he married the former Evelyn Ferguson who survives. He started his telecommunication career at Carolina Telephone and retired as a telecommunicator from Century Link. Mr. Morrow dearly loved scuba diving, playing racquetball, golfing, taking photos, and boat riding on the Pamlico River. While growing up in the First Presbyterian Church of Washington he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the level of Eagle Scout. He was also a former member of the Rotary Club in New Bern.

    Surviving with his loving wife, Evelyn are sons, Thomas Archbell Morrow, Jr. and his wife Monique of Fletcher, and Fred Fuller of Rocky Mount; a brother, James Morrow of California; a sister, Harriett Jaslin and her husband Dev of Costa Rica; and grandchildren, Caroline Morrow, Macon Morrow, Emma Grace Morrow, Cody Fuller, and Jake Fuller.
