NY Post editorial: "Out of control judges lead to out of control crime: - it is the same here | Eastern NC Now

The New York Post has published an excellent opinion piedel entitled "Out of control judges lead to out of control Crime."  Unfortunately, this problem is not limited to New York and creates a crime threat around the country.

Soft on crime judges and prosecutors come from a number of sources.  Some at the federal level, the Obama and Biden judges were appointed by Obama or by Biden's autopen.  Liberal governors at the state level have appointed others.  The Soros network and Soros himself have financed the campaigns of far left soft-on-crime prosecutors and judges around the country.

Even in our own local area, we see too many soft on crime policies.  For example, when a defendant who threatened to shoot Rep. Keith Kidwell and others in front of the Beaufort County Board of Elections was arrested and taken before a magistrate, he was given only a small bond to post to be released.  It was appalling that someone who was threatening to  shoor people was released like that right here in Beaufort County.

The problem was that the bond / pre-trial release standards for the judicial district had instructed the magistrate to do just that in such cases.  Those standards were NOT set in Raleigh.  They were set by two local Democrat judges, Superior Court Judge Waylon Sermons and Chief District Court Judge Regina Parker.  Sermons has since retired and Parker has been appointed by ultra-liberal NC Governor Josh Stein to replace him in his Superior Court seat.  It is still uncertain who will be the new Chief District Court judge.

At the state level, the radicalism of Democrat judicial candidates in North Carolina is even worse.  The Democrat nominee for the state Supreme Court seat up for election, Anita "ANTIFA" Earls was an activist lawyer for a far left pressure group before being appointed to the bench, where he was constantly suing the state of North Carolina on behalf of various far left causes.  Her campaigns receive large contributions from Soros and his network.

For common sense judges, the only intelligent thing to do is to vote for the Republican judicial candidates, who are common sense conservatives.
