    (Washington, NC)     The Board of Directors of the Shepard Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the election of new officers. These officers were elected for the 2013-2014 term. New officers, who also serve as the board’s executive committee, are Ainsley Rusevlyan, DPM, President; John Tate, Vice President; Gary Wilson, Treasurer; and Catherine Pfeiffer, Secretary.

    The Shepard Cancer Foundation plays a vital role in support of the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center. Their mission is to financially support and promote the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center in its efforts to improve the mind, body and spirit of cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. The community’s generous support of the Shepard Cancer Foundation funds a variety of programs including complementary therapies such as yoga and massage therapy, educational programs and patient assistance.
