Cecil Allen Toler | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Cecil Allen Toler, age 83, a resident of Grimesland, NC died Sunday June 28, 2026. at his home.

    Mr. Toler's wishes were for no service to be held.

    Mr. Toler was born in Beaufort County on June 14, 1943, son of the late Hebert Cecil Toler and the late Bessie Estelle Simmons Toler. He was a 1961 graduate of Stokes High School. On October 28, 1966, he married the former Mary Lois Jones who preceded him in death on April 25, 2020. He retired as a painter with Toler's Welding. If something could be collected, it was his hobby. He collected coins, old bottles, and anything pertaining to Elvis.

    Survivors include his daughter: Jennifer Renee' Elks and her husband Carl of Chocowinity; a brother: Thurman Toler and his wife Wanda of Pactolus; grandchildren: Mandy Woolard, Andy Woolard and his wife Karen, Shane Woolard, Emily Toler and Makayla Smith; and great grandchildren: Dakota Woolard, Dylan Woolard, Gavin Cutler, and Savannah Cutler. He was predeceased, along with his parents and wife by a son: James AllenToler; two brothers: William Earl Toler and Gene Toler; and a sister Sallie Toler Tyson.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Cecil Toler Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889.
