Ronnie Owen Everett | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Ronnie Owen Everett, age 78, a resident of Pinetown, NC died Friday September 11, 2026, at ECU Health Medical Center on Greenville.

    A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September at Yeatesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Green, Robie Payne, Keven Everett, Travis Everett, Joseph Edwards and Philip Oneal will serve as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday September 18, 2026, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and at other times at the home.

    Mr. Everett was born in Beaufort County on July 1, 1948, son of the late Virgil Monroe Everett and the late Vida Jones Everett. He attended Panteto High School and served his county in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He married the former Sandra Garrett who preceded him in death on May 15, 2003. On September 1, 2008 he married the former Sandra Faye Jackson who survives. He retired as a crane operator for Superior Crane in Bridgeton. Mr. Everett enjoyed mowing grass, fishing, working in his shop, and looking out for his dog Rocket. He was a member of Free Union Free Will Baptist Church.

    Surviving along with his wife of the home are his children: Ken Everett and his wife Tammy of Pinetown, Craig Everett of Pinetown, Philip Jackson and his wife Beth of Gary, WV, and Lynn Cayton of Aurora; ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Everett was predeceased, along with his parents and first wife, by a sister: Lily Carol Everett.
