I thought we beat the issue of tolling ferries in Eastern North Carolina about a year ago. At that time there were meetings, newspaper articles, threats of political doom, and a lot of dancing by politicians.

On Tuesday, 5/28/13, the House Transportation Committee approved HB #475 "Ferry Tolling Alternatives".

Anti-Ferry Tax efforts are expanding in Beaufort, Hyde, and Pamlico Counties. Because we are working to coordinate among the 3 counties, we are pushing back the date for the trip to Raleigh.
