A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Eddie Bowen. Steve Chauncey, Thomas Rogers, Kirby Ballance, Doug Otts, Kenny Clifton, Glenn Mercer, Eddie Squires and Eddie Sheppard will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Oliver was born in Jackson County, N.C., on Aug. 31, 1920, daughter of the late Estes and Martha Queen Watson. She married Fernie Harding Oliver Sr., a U.S. veteran of World War II, who preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1957.
