Good stuff Bobby Tony and Sabe. I see a back and forth post between you two built on these very well considered comments.

I well get the gist of what you are saying, and i believe others would as well.

Without George Washington's disdain for the corrupting influence of ultimate power, where would out nation be?

Outstanding post Ryan, and thanks for reminding us that we once had great leaders in this now leaderless nation.

Commented on Media Bias

You are right Bobby Tony, few reporters have the intellect or the energy to discover "who, what, when, where, why and how" unless they are going after a Republican, and Lord knows: When was the last a so-called journalist do enough research to uncover anything important, even if it is against a Republican.

Sounds like a poor perverse joke on the real American People: "Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Farrakhan walk into a bar."

Yeah me too Bobby Tony on the three rounds.

But in regards to your "talk Radio" show, the 2nd Amendment has so many purposes, and the issue that once the 1st Amendment is gone, most of the other Amendments that offend the Liberal Fascists, in time, would probably fall as well.

At that point, America's real patriots will need their guns, not to protect themselves, but to show the patriots in the military that they are serious in saving the Republic, and that the military, their leaders, or otherwise, should fully question their loyalties, whether to men, or to their true oath of allegiance to their Republic's Constitution.

Loved the Crowder on "Common Sense" Gun Control.

it was almost as if Crowder was searching for men who had a "fanny pack", or wish they had one, to sign his petition to ban guns in America.

With these vapid Liberals growing in numbers, it might be a better idea to not lock-up your guns, but hide them instead from these vacuous fascists.

Commented on Media Bias

Tom, the Democrat media is a sham, and has only one purpose to put Democrats in office, and the vast majority of Americans know this.

Yes, you don't need to "defend the media", but I would suggest you running from it before it taints you any more than it already has.

I think Bobby Tony has forsaken his Italian roots, and is now embracing his inner Greek.

I just pray that it does not go any further than this ... you know, that whole Greek thing.

Deatherage and Associates is pulling back on the lots for sale on the corner of Old Blounts Creek Road and Moores Beeach Road; however, for a limited time or as long as we leave any pricing that may be viewed on this site, we will honor those prices and will sale that lot at that price as per this map.

"Just saying". Did you have a twinkle in your Bobby Tony eyes (both of them) thinking that you had greatly pleased the great god of cliches by uttering that hackneyed simple phrase.

B.T., I am wrath of overwrought, overworked, overused cliches.

The utterly dishonest Democrat DOJ AG, Loretta Lynch, sought the opinion of the FBI when it came to Jim Comey's morally ambivalent split regarding L. Hillary's improper handling of the public's email that she hijacked and destroyed the public record.

When Jim Comey requested that the FBI investigate the corrupt "Play for Pay" scandal involving the whole of the Clinton Foundation, which was evident from the emails; the similarly corrupt DOJ AG, Loretta Lynch did not respect Jim Comey's opinion, and declined to allow the investigation. The corrupt Lynch knows that this Clintonian corruption is significantly more provable, and could possibly put both Hillary and Bill in Federal prison.

The morally bankrupt Lynch cut the deal with the hyper partisan Obama, and then consolidated the deal on the tarmac in Arizona with Bill Clinton, where she spoke to him, in private, and exclusively on the subject of his wife's felonious conduct, while she was under investigation by the FBI.

The unprincipled AG Loretta Lynch should be impeached.

Commented on Nap Time Anyone?

Actually I think I am that "Walking Zombie", but not at 6 hours of sleep a day, including naps. Maybe at 2/3rds of that - 4 hours.

I keep telling myself that I will make up on my sleep, but the best I can do is get 15 hours over 2 days, and that ain't often. Oh Well.

I can't ever see myself as that old guy asleep in the chair or on the sofa basking in the glow of the TV. I can always find something to do, even if it is me picking up my guitar, where I will just play about 1/2 of the chords that I know (and I now know a bunch) in some random order just to see which ones I like in multiple sequences; good practice on speeding up changes.

Good one.

It is remarkable that the Democrat party ever had presidents like Truman and Kennedy.

Seeing Bill Clinton again reminds me why I can't stand the guy. He lies so well, i think he convinces himself that the lie may may be true.

In regards to your Conkite reference, one has to consder: What if Cronkite was wrong?

Chances were he was wrong. The Tet Offensive turned out to be a huge rout for our brave American soldiers, when their backs were up against that wall of certain death.

I know it has been said it many times before, and I recognized this fact very early back during the primary when I was supporting a whole bunch of Republicans other than Trump. That fact is this real Americans, the ones that that make stuff work, do the paying with their blood seat and toil, and the dying for our nation's defense are pissed real hard, and The Donald has tapped into that rich vein of a very real patriotic anger.

If Trump loses because there are not enough of us, know this: That anger will not just go away, it will not be absorbed into the fabric of gleeful socialism that is the world of today's vapid Liberal.

It will simmer in to a movement, and these people will not go away, and they will not change, and at some point, they will take their Republic back, or what is left of it.

Ted,

I, in a very small way, was one of those protesters, and I, now, seriously question my experience level as a life form to have had the wisdom to protest anything of substance at that point in my life.

The 1st Amendment allows public discourse, but it is also our 1st Amendment to blame the dumbasses, such as myself, doing the protesting at a time when Walter Cronkite "Called the War" at the onset of the Tet Offensive, which was clearly a huge journalist/commentary miscalculation.

I reckon even the "most trusted man in America" has the right to be a dumbass too.

Sarah,

We sure would love a knowledgeable contribution from you at some point.

I know that NOW is probably not possible at this juncture, as your position would not permit opinions beyond the general assessment of matters at large; however, there will come a day when the World will be of need of your particular wisdom, and you should not deprive us to any longer when you are able.

Commented on Nap Time Anyone?

I work many long hours.

I dig my naps, and I can fall asleep almost immediately once I lay my head down, rest, and then I am ready to go again, with renewed cognitive vigor. The job I have, and i must accomplish daily demands it. The work truly suffers when I am overly sleep deprived.

Good post. I have put three, going on four kids through college, and I really do believe I deserve at least a partial refund.

The Education Industry is predominately run by the self interest of those who are in the business to make big buck. The only problem with that precept is that most colleges /universities have some public funding, which is not dependent on real results, none, which is a travesty to the parents who pay for their children's education, the American taxpayer, and the child that is deprived the value of a real education.

Great comment Bobby Tony.

Lying Hillary does have one other direction; a straight vector to the point where she is personally enhance, enriched, and she will lie, cheat, steal and kill to get it.

That Lying Hillary would sell off chunks of our nation to so is just acceptable collateral damage for the Clintons, and other non patriot core Democrats and RINOs.

If Lying Hillary is the template for all future women presidents, I say that I am done with these bigoted Feminazis. Either these women that would vote for this corrupt bitch are either egregiously stupid, or are as dangerous of female predator as L. Hillary is.

We are raising generations of praying mantises.

I have always existed perfectly in my travels from using a map, reading it well, and nearly always arriving at my destination without getting lost.

Plus, I have a relative understanding of where I am. One loses this if they are addicted to GPS directions from a robot voice.

Thank-you B.T. for the post.

My father went to NC State before he finished at UNC after WW2, so I grew up a fan of both NC State and UNC. What is weird though is that I attended Duke Basketball camp when I was a formidable basketball player before blowing out my news playing that damned football.

So, I well remember Press Maravich, Pete's father, when he was head coach at NC State. Pete played basketball at Raleigh Broughton high school and was quite a state wide, and I believe national sensation. When Press went to LSU, he took Pete with him.

Pete was quite the shooter, some would call him a ball-hog, but he was also an excellent talent at handling the ball, and could well deliver the assist when he wanted to.

I know Bobby Tony.

It never ceases to amaze me that leading Liberals still believe that the 2nd Amendment is all about "hunting".

As you mentioned, Ryan is 19 years, and his father is an acquaintance of mine from Washington. We were recently re-acquainted, the father told me about Ryan, and here we are - Ryan's first post.

I am promised, there will be more.
