Thank-you for your effort, B.T., but for future reference, I am sure that this only counted as one vote because all of those computers are on one IP address. I think I smell a minimalist, but humorous B.T. post coming soon, on this subject, to a BCN near you.

That poll will be as current then as it is today.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 2:09 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Okay, I can see that as the next poll.

Now vote on this one, and B.T. to vote too.

Should be available to everyone. Let me know if there is a problem.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 1:27 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Obviously, it is doing quite well right where it is for now.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 12:19 pm By: Stan Deatherage
I do beleive anyone can vote at any time, but just once as per each IP address.

But remember, you are not a moderate, you are a Liberal.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 12:06 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Hence, you are a Liberal. I knew it when you were advocating that you were a moderate. All I had to do is read your words, just as you read mine and you could read that I was a Conservative.

You should embrace being a Liberal, as I do being a true Conservative.

It is one of those things that you either are or you are not. It is like you can't be a little bit pregnant.

Speaking for myself, and probably, Bobby Tony, I don't think we care about your problems with the Baptists ... in all due respect ... of course.

This is what they do here in Beaufort County. The Liberals and the RINOs meet, and not only do they make up lies to tell us, they make up lies to tell each other, and I'm pretty sure that they lie to themselves.

By judging the stupid stuff they do, um ... nobody can be that continuously stupid, right?

Is it not cool to watch mindless pacifists cheer nativity, an ocean away, and over 76 years ago?

The big difference is: England was trying to avoid a war against the largest fighting force in the World, probably of all time; in America's case, we were already winning the battle, when Hussein capitulated to his brethren, and then lied about it to us.

If this goes very badly, a few years later, The Amateur might want to find another country to finish his life's work. Traitors should not reside in the nation they helped destroy.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 8:18 am By: Stan Deatherage
No, Gene, you have no clue about what it means to be Conservative, but then again, neither do RINOs.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 8:03 am By: Stan Deatherage
It is 15 months until election day for until the general election. Shouldn't a Liberal, such as Gene have some other issue to warm himself over.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 8:01 am By: Stan Deatherage
One would have thought it would have been B.T. to demand such. B.T. must not be as proud of his work.

It is a new Diane.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 7:53 am By: Stan Deatherage
I told you this before, nobody's posts stay up all the time.
Commented: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 @ 4:40 am By: Stan Deatherage
That is the way it works.

If one has never run for public office, or has considered it, it is my opinion that maybe you should.

Two things could happen: 1) You might develop a sympathy for some of those elected. 2) It may cause you to re-examine the real issues that drive this Republic.

Either way, you could become a more valuable member of the electorate, and Lord knows, we definitely need smarter people there.

Now, who would I vote for president: Thom Tillis or Ted Cruz?

Now, who would I vote for for North Carolina's U.S. Senator (if offered the opportunity): Thom Tillis or Ted Cruz?

Mmmmmm ... me thinks Mr. Thillis should put away the knives in respect to Mr. Cruz. If Thom wants to go after fellow Republicans, I have a long list for Mr. Thillis.

My opinion: Start with the RINOs, the hypocrites, the cronies, the unpatriotic, the stupids ... well ... pretty much the RINOs.

Well Bobby Tony, you are smart enough for polite company, and that more than satisfies BCN standards.

As many of you know, I am not a bit fan of talking about college, as some qualifier, and then not leaving it all out on the field, when called to complete the question.
Commented: Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 @ 3:55 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Well, 'I'm not holding my breath'.

I'm sure that I do, I just don't bring it up, except I did write a resolution condemning Partial Birth Abortion as a county commissioner, which may have passed, but it was by the slimmest of margins. One of the commissioners that voted against it was a Democrat preacher.

Democrats have to tow the party line, which is Abortion on Demand. It is a huge tenant of the new Democrat Party. The Hedonist/Feminist lobby is a growing division for Democrats.

Reverend Gene is a good Democrat, and now a professed feminist. I would not want him advising one of my daughters on whether an abortion is the right option for an unplanned pregnancy.
Commented: Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 @ 3:07 pm By: Stan Deatherage
It is the question to Gene: Do you support public funding for Abortion on Demand?

Ted are you really in the stands? Where are they running?
Commented: Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 @ 2:38 pm By: Stan Deatherage
You know I love that post. It may soon time for a reprise.

Since Gene is so imbued with showing both sides in debates, I refer everyone to yesterday, when Gene was so intent in displaying his inner feminist: throwing around trite Liberal insults to this publisher, accusing me of being a chauvinist, which is terminology that no knowledgeable man would use, and is endemic more of a feminist 'hissy fit', than any real point of knowledge.

When it came to the point of knowledge part of the discussion/debate, Gene failed by not answering a simple question, twice. I've said this before, and I will reiterate: If Emory is the bastion of intellect that has propelled Gene through life, especially when it comes to intellectual discourse with those of opposing knowledge, I suggest he endeavor to get his money back.

Your sentence: "It also prohibits the government from unduly preferring religion over non-religion, or non-religion over religion", is wrong.

Atheists are not a protected class to be coddled, at the exclusion of Christian values, in my America.
Commented: Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 @ 8:54 am By: Stan Deatherage
I agree, the 1st Amendment is rather precise in its simplicity.

The funny part to all this is that this is the most quoted amendment by Liberals, and still, I just don't believe they grasp it.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 11:27 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Thank-you Bobby Tony for clarifying this liberal fantasy for what it is.

I actually like the idea of separation of church and state, but it still does not make that philosophy constitutionally protected.

You know, the reason Liberals say and do silly things is because they just do not know stuff.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 10:23 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Gene actually answered the one on chauvinism: Which was, 'I am Conservative like a Muslim Fundamentalist'.

He never answered the one on everyone funding the killing of babies.

Gene's Liberal tendencies may be at conflict with some deep, unresolved semblance of decency.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 9:25 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Ted: Does that include feminist women, because I have to be able to talk to whoever I find attractive?

Fortunately, I did not marry a feminist, and none of my daughters are feminazis, and as they grow older and wiser, they will probably be completely normal.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 6:45 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Ted,

Your minimalist summation may be the only answer I get other than I am 'tantamount to Muslim Fundamentalist', and that from someone who deeply admires the one American President, Jimma, who did more for Muslim Fundamentalism than any other president ever, even more than Hussein.

After two attempts to discover whether Gene approves of publicly funded abortion, I will not try again.

Actually, I cannot fathom why Gene allows himself to lose every debate he starts with me. He lost this one fast, faster than usual, and with just one word - Chauvinism.

He might as well have cried 'RACIST'!
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 5:56 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Gene, 'If you walk like a Liberal, talk like a liberal, quack like a Liberal, then you are a Liberal'.

Embrace it man, your inner feminist will accept you for it.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 5:45 pm By: Stan Deatherage
So Gene, I get it: Chauvinism is you projecting your inner feminist angst against someone who knows stuff, can explain stuff, and actually can answer simple questions?

Using this feminist name calling technique shifts the conversation away from you losing the debate, yet again, but offers you inclusion with Liberal feminists, most of whom can't think their way out of a wet paper bag.

I get it now, and thanks for giving me another Liberal buzz word/phrase, actually slang, that some of us have no need to use.
Commented: Saturday, August 1st, 2015 @ 5:42 pm By: Stan Deatherage
Gene, once again:

1) Do you believe in the public funding of a woman's private business?

2) What does the Liberal slang word of chauvinism mean (you accused me of it, you should know what this Liberal word means)?
