Every bully Govt knows this. If you try to make that bully govt see you, it will find ways to get revenge. Just as they maligned Trump, they might label a citizen in a small town, a grumbling "troublemaker." The word gets around in all circles.

Hopefully with the new Voter ID requirement, a handful of cheaters cant change an entire election result.

I have used it and so far so good. I've heard it said, that we can help teach an AI program by debating with it, rather than just accepting what it says and moving on.

Did you hear about the guy that developed such a relationship with his A.I. program that he fell in love with it, and asked it to marry him. I think I heard that it told him it was flattered. LOL

If I ran for local elected office, and promised free ice cream for life, free grocery stores, $30 per hr wages, free childcare, no cops, no arrest, etc, would I be elected? Are we smarter than New Yorkers? I guess that remains to be seen.
I remember a guy who said I dont see why we cant build Two bridges. We didnt even get one.
Citizens are being advised to think twice about who they vote for. We get the Govts we deserve.

Do u hav a memory of th last time we had ppl on "governing boards who will assert th powers those boards possess to keep th bureaucracy in line."

I recall (approximately) a few decades back when we elected a man professing to be a Republican to the County Commissioners. Turned out he wasnt! The joke became "Dont be a Mickey."

Its not easy being conservative. Human nature is to want to Help the needy. The trick is to be strict about using the Govt's money to be overly helpful. What I've noticed is that the Democrats are generous with OTHER People's Money. They dont donate their own money to causes, and charities.

What kinds of things are just cause to be fired? Have we seen the contract that the city signed with its manager?

On buying th Snowden school... Didnt we taxpayers already buy it th 1st time? Why should we hav to buy it again?

On th TitleSearch: We Washington citizens are ALSO BeaufortCo Citizens so shouldnt th City show us cits th T.S.?

Have you ever accused the city Housing authority of corruption, then requested public records, only to be ignored? Fritz, You sound like a Democrat operative the way you refer to me, a fellow citizen who has lived a different experience than you, as Hostile. No need to be so judgemental as you admitted you are new, and dont know all there is to know, and even admitted you didnt know who my words applied to.

I am glad to see I at least made you see that if you want to represent us, you should try walking in others people's shoes. But in my humble opinion, you have a lot to learn. Who your heroes are says a lot about who you are. And your defensiveness says your skin is not as tough as you wish it was.

As I said to Stan, Hood trusted the words of a couple of people, and so helped get them elected, and then their deeds showed who they really were. After the election, its too late.

I think it would be beneficial to the local citizens if you would take some time and define for us in detail what it means to be a Conservative Republican.

It appears that we all need a definition since even Hood admits that he actively supported a couple of people for School Board only to find out that they werent conservative. Dems are clever at deceit. Republicans are truly the compassionate ones, because we foolishly want to believe the best of everyone, especially those we like, and who we often see within our own bubble.

Please, in detail define a conservative for me. Thanks.

They say a community gets the Govt they deserve.
We local people must really suck, because our local govts sure do.

As long as people continue to vote for the politician, simply because he/she goes to your church or knows you by your first name then the same old useless politicians will remain as our Govt. Whats the problem? Is the community so small and lacking in talent that people would rather have the devil they know, rather than the devil they dont? Think like Trump said: Try something different. What have you got to lose?

If your politicians cant bother to call you back or reply to your emails, then you dont need him. If he takes you for granted, and is blind to the ppls anguish, then let him/her be invisible to you.
If your politician hasnt done something actually physical for the community, then kick them to the curb.
We dont need No Kings!

When I did a search for NCWRC Action Plan, I got this:

Anytime a Govt Agency has an ACTION PLAN that has to do w conserving nature, u can bet humans will b th losers. Hence I think reading this LONG document is worthwhile, but also bec I like animals too.

GONE are the days of the honor system, & honorable men. When we see that even Judges hav become lawless, we know that th USA is about to become an authoritarian nation. When pple cant be trusted to "police" themselves, then many laws must b written to clarity right & wrong. When Americans were seen as a moral people, freedom was easy. The USA didnt need a lot of petty laws to control us. But the pendulum has swung, we are no longer in that world.

Our local Govt officials dont give a damn about WeThePpl, they are out to protect themselves & do as their boss dictates. The local citizens who are just trying to get by, from day to day, are abused & ignored. Trump is trying to right th wrongs, but he cant get fix the local wrongs being done against the people. Citizens will have to demand we be respected & treated as people deserving our RIGHTS be honored & not just trouble-makers when we Speak UP!

It reminds me of the local bureaucrat who said "ordinances means whatever we say it means."

Something to consider:

Unlike many school systems, the San Antonio TX area's 19 school districts function as separate, independent entities. Each has its own superintendent, its own elected board of education, and its own taxing authority.
It covers an area of 466.7 square miles. I'm stressing the square mile factor, not the population factor.

Beaufort County has 3 school district with ONE superintendent covering an area of 962.8 square miles. Shouldn't Beaufort County have more than one Superintendent?

Lastly wouldn't a local citizen who is educated, make a more qualified superintendent than someone who ISN'T local? Cheaper too.

P.S. I'm still waiting to learn if Gary intends to "fight" for the public records he requested a year ago.
