Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are traditional conservatives, NOT the populist conservatives of MAGA. Indeed, Cruz, whom I supported, was the main traditional conservative challenger to Trump in the 2016 primaries.

Mitch McConnell is an establishment type, thick with the special interests, who was a thorn in the side on many issues both of traditional conservatives and MAGA populist / nationalist conservatives. For example, it was McConnell who refused to cooperate in trying to repeal Obamacare. He also refused to fight Obamacare very hard when it first went through Congress.

Bobbie, it is YOUR side that is trying to jail their political opponents, from Donald Trump down to pro-life activists.

The problem, Little Bobbie, is that the Lankford bill neither "solved" anything nor was it a "compromise". It codifies some of the worst illegal things Biden is doing, creates more incentives for illegals to come, and does nothing to stop them. Anything that looks otherwise is only a smokescreen.

The problem for the GOP is that we have a Fifth Column traitor named Mitch McConnell in our midst who is in bed with the special interests who want more illegal immigration, and he sent a like minded fool, Lankford, to do a sellout deal with the Democrats. If he had sent someone genuinely committed to border security like Ted Cruz, they would have never signed off on such a one sided betrayal of the American people.

Little Bobbie, you are entitled to your own opinion but not your own "facts". The history of minority soldiers in the Confederate army and navy is factual history, even if those facts do not line up well with your ideology. Someone reciting facts is never nuts, but what IS nuts is your constant far left idological blather.

America, in effect, lost that election, which was largely due to factors like the lawsuits by Democrat election shyster Marc Elias to change election laws and procedures to make it easier to cheat, and by outside far left groups like ZUckerberg and his ZuckBucks being injected into running election offices.

The important thing though is that by all measures, our country was a heck of a lot better run and better off under Trump than under Biden. That is why Biden is afraid to run against Trump and is trying to take him out with Third World strongarm tactics like taking Trump off the ballot, something Venezuela did with the main challenger to its far left dictator, or put him in jail, which is something Pakistan's government just did to a former prime minister who was their chief opponent, and which Putin has done to several opponents, most recently Aleksi Navalny. The teetering rulers of Argentina tried to do that to its new president Javier Milei, but he beat that scam and then beat them by a landslide in the election.
Commented: Sunday, February 4th, 2024 @ 7:13 pm By: John Steed
Biden is behaving just like Putin, trying to put his chief challenger in prison on made up charges. Pakistan's current government just did that to a former prime minister who polls showed might beat them, and one can find it all through the Third World.

In the US it shows the Democrats two-tier justice system, where egregious misuse of classified documents by Hillary and Biden are winked at, but use of such documents that is likely in full compliance with the Presidential Records Act by Trump suddenly becomes a criminal offense. Or the "election denial" gambits of Hillary, Al Gore, and others is winked at but those of Trump are prosecuted. That is Third World political use of courts and totally un-American.
Commented: Sunday, February 4th, 2024 @ 8:12 am By: John Steed
Yeah. Watch what they do, the Dems that is. In over 200 years in American politics, no incumbent president has connived to put his opponent in prison or kick him off the ballot until Biden colluded with partisan Democrat prosecutors and election officials to do so. The Democrats are the threat to democracy.

That is a typical Third World power play. It just happened in Pakistan, where the most popular opposition politician, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been jailed for 14 years in a made up case for an "illegal marriage". www.dailymail.co.uk Now, thanks to Biden and the Democrats, the same totalitarian game is being played in the US.

"Burn it down" is an ANTIFA slogan. Maybe Bobbie is ANTIFA.

The woke left is who is trying to overthrow our Constitution and our liberty. Look for example at the border problem caused by Biden refusing to enforce our duly adopted immigration laws, and inserted his own executive orders instead. Look at the suppression of free speech, which the US Circuit Court of Appeals ordered stopped in Missouri v. Biden and is now on appeal to the Surpeme Court. Look at the Biden White House's open collusiont on the Stalinist prosecutions of Trump, which is also patterned after how Putin dealt with his political opponents.

Translated from Bobbie's Orwellian Newspeak, that means that Zero Hedge is not one of the far left's so-called "trusted sources" which they want to dominate the conversation. In other words, it does not just rehash their narrative.
Commented: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 @ 5:18 pm By: John Steed
As usual, Little Bobbie uses his Orwellian definition of "true" which in his usage means "consistent with the far left narrative".
Commented: Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 @ 8:00 am By: John Steed
The destruction of the justice system is being done by the left using it for political purposes and creating a two tier justice system, which does one thing for the left and a very different thing for the right. Unless it gets back to feeding everyone from the same spoon, our justice system will continue to lose credability with the public.

Amazing, Little Bobbie, you seem to finally grasp what really causes warming and cooling of Earth, the amount of solar radiation we get from the sun. Fewer sunspots mean less radiation, so we get cooling, but more of them means more radiation so we get warming. Some astronomers are predicting a significant reduction in sunspots and therefore solar radiation in the not too distant future.

The problem is WOKE running the school system, and in Beaufort County that means ineffective seat warmers rubber stamping what woke superintendant Chesseman wants them to do.

Assuming by MAGA, you mean Trump, he did a heck of a lot better job running government than that woke idiot Biden. But the three conservatives on the school board currently are more traditional conservative than populist (MAGA) conservative.

Unfortunately, the re-emergence of this discredited CO2 climate theory was soon followed by an easily distortable research technique called computer modelling, which is little more than digial voodoo. A computer model can be set up to produce any particular result that its designers want. It can be set up subjectively with the particular desired result in mind or it can be set up objectively, but even with the later it can be severely flawed. The computer models used by the climate alarmists do not correctly show climate patterns in the past where we know the real data, so why should anyone trust them as to the future? Michael Mann's hockey stick chart is a prime example, as it does not track with historical data going backward and is very far off of historical data. Nonetheless, the UN made it a key exhibit in one of their reports. Then, it was revealed by one of his students how Mann had deliberately cherry picked data to create his phony computer model, and the UN dropped that chart like a hot potato in subsequent reports. Mann was one of those exposed in the Climategate emails for manipulating data in other regards, too.

Another good example of the misuse of computer modelling to get a desired result is the use of computer modelling instead of real loss data in setting property insurance rates. Eastern North Carolina is overcharged on property insurance as a result of manipulated computer models that do not track with actual records of insurance losses. The insurance companies have a desired result, getting higher premiums out of policyholders.

On the other hand, hurricane tracking is an area where there are competing computer models, and everyone is trying to get it right since if their model predicts a path right, they look good and if it predicts it wrong, they look bad. Even so, on the computer modelling charts, every model always shows a different path, sometimes very differnt paths.

Again, Little Bobbie, in your twisted Orwellian use of the word "true" you mean "consistent with the far left narrative", and no the factual truth, which I posted is not consistent with the far left narrative, but it IS consistent with the actual facts.

The ANTIFA / BLM insurreciton included a multi-day siege of the White House including repeated military-style attempts to breach the perimeter, and on one day the secret service even had to move the president to the bunker.

And the George Floyd situation was not the only time Pelosi called for an insurrection, On an earlier occaision, she called for "uprisings" against Trump.

Nancy Pelosi is on video encouraging the George Floyd ANTIFA / BLM insurrection before it started. What Pelosi suggested was "riots in the streets" as opposed to President Trump calling for "peaceful and patriotic protests at the Capitol" Kamala Harris is on record raising bail money to get ANTIFA / BLM insurrectionists out of jail as well as encouraging it. Are they "above the law"?

The Paris Climate Accords are not Constitutionally a legally binding treaty in the United States because to be legally binding, it has to be submitted to the US Senate and approved by 2/3 vote. That is why President Trump was able to take us out of this mousetrap by Executive Order, and can do so again when he is returned to office. However, it may be better to submit it to the Senate and have it rejected so we could not have another Biden just put us back in.

Many other countries are in the same boat. The EU approved it for all of Europe without letting individual countries decide. With populist right parties which reject the climate alarmist mantra surging, it is likely that countries in Europe are going to kick up about it, too. Farmers all over Europe are in open revolt against this eco-tyranny and they have overwhielming support among the public against it.

The Climategate email dump showed beyond doubt that the mad scientists pushing climate alarmism are outright fraudsters and liars.

John Valley, it is hard to tell what branch of political extremism you represent, since the far left is now pushing the same anti-Jew message as the nazis used to push and their neo-nazi wannabees still do. Heck, even Soros, who years ago was a Jew himself, even contributes to anti-Jew organizations.

I guess Bolshevik Bob's talking points tell him to call all conservatives "MAGA" but in the real world there are both traditional conservatives and populist / nationalist conservatives, who agree on much but not on everything. Myself, I come from the traditional conservatism of a Jesse Helms and Ronald Reagan, and I voted for Ted Cruz in the 2016 primary. In Europe, traditional conservatives and populist / nationalist conservatives are almost always in separate political parties but here in America, we are together in one, the Republican Party.

Conservatives have won some and lost some since 2016. An important victory was control of the House of Representatives. The trend around the world is to the right, and that is going to happen in the US, too. Trump is right on the money in dealing with illegal immigration and with the Paris Climate mousetrap, but I wish he would be more like traditional conservatives on taxing and spending. He is light years better than Biden or any Democrat on darn near everything.

This article tracks with the poll results we are seeing, even with polls from liberal sources. The number of young people and minorities who are leaving the Democrat plantation is astounding. It also tracks with what is happening in elections in Europe as voters tire of the left's tolerance of illegal immigration and pandering to the climate crazies. The earthquake that is already happening in Europe will soon be coming to our shores.

"True" in Little Bobbie's Orwellian definition means "consistent with the leftwing narrative" and I would agree that the leftwing is not wanting to tell all of this yet. But the study by U of Michigan and statements from WHO boss Tedros are there and even Little Bobbie cannot deny them. So are numerous suggestions from the climate crazies that we ought to be eating bugs and worms instead of meat.

The farmer revolt across Europe, and the public support for it against the climate crazies are also fact. Indeed, the French farmers just upped the ante by laying seige to Paris cutting off access.

Here is an interesting article, 15 things the MSM media does not want you to know about this corrupt Jean Carroll case: www.breitbart.com

Not only can this gold digging long-in-the-tooth bimbo not even remember the year it supposedly happened, but her allegation just happens to come straight from an episode of "Law and Order" down to the very location it supposedly happened. Her first claim that it happened occured after Trump was elected and she was in the midst of a book tour to promote a book she had written, when it helped her get audiences to sell her book.

Pakistan just announced that it has deported half a million illegal aliens in just three months. If Pakistan can do it, we sure as heck CAN. Under Trump we WILL.

Israel has managed to deport a large percentage of the illegal aliens which slipped in before their wall was completed. President Eisenhower did it here in the US with his Operation Wetback. Several Scandanavian countries have given them stipends to go home because it is cheaper than paying them welfare. President Trump will get deportation done. After all, his first administration had a huge degree of success that mirrors Biden's massive record of failure.

The first thing that needs to happen to motivate them to leave is cut off ALL their taxpayer paid benefits, and create a zero tolerance for lawbreaking by illegal aliens. Why should tacpayers have to pay for luxury hotel rooms for these freeloading parasites and why should we tolerate them breaking ANY of our laws?

This far left harpy is clueless. Those victims of political prosecutions by a politically corrupt Justice Department in a legal system that is now two-tiered based on politics. That is the Democrats doing and it is un-American. Biden and Hillary's behavior with classified documents was egregious, for example, and neither is being prosecuted, while they are throwing the book at Trump for much, much less. Hunter Biden more egregiously broke the same laws that Stone and Manafort were prosecuted for but is not even being charged. And if Hunter ever does have to face the music for anything, you can be sure that daddy will pardon him. Our Justice system is badly broken and it is the Democrats who broke it.

Trump won New Hampshire by the biggest margin ever in that state's primary. A landslide in politics is defined as any margin over ten points. And less than a third of Haley's votes in a Republican primary did not even come from actual Republicans. The majority of them came from people who will vote Democrat in November regardless of who the GOP nominee is. Why in heck should they be allowed to vote in our primary?

Nikki Haley is a globalist twit financed in part by leftwing Democrats like leftwing megadonor Reid Hoffman. 70% of the the vote she got in New Hampshire according to exit polls was from Democrats and other non-Republicans who were "holding their nose for Haley" to try to hurt Trump. Those who finance this crap should be shunned not only by Trump but by all loyal Republicans. Trump is not shunning those who financed genuine Republicans like Ranaswammy, deSantis, Scott, etc.

The dictator is Biden who is using the usual tactics of dictators against their opponents, trying to kick them off the ballot and / or put them in jail. Putin is one of Biden's role models there.

There goes Bigot Bob again with his anti-white racism. He must really hate those honkies. The 1619 Project is NOT history, and even its author admits that. Bigot Bob wants Marxist fairy tales taught as "history". His heroes in the old Soviet Union had a saying that "history is on our side" as they made up history out of whole cloth. Bigot Bob is not much different.

Don't forget that the things are dangerous. Lithium batteries can spontaneously combust, burn very hot, and spread fire very quickly. London just had two of its electric buses, one full electric and the other hybrid, spontaneously combust and burn up within a day of each other. Paris has also had several do that. They are a death trap.

Stan, the only "staff" that this political stunt was intended to protect was Cheeseman and maybe a few of his top underlings tied to his woke stuff, like Dr. Parker who told the school board meeting that the Bridges math curriculum was not Common Core, only to have to reverse himself at the next meeting and admit that it was after various people researched it. The question is - Was Parker just incompetent and did not know the correct answer or was he lying to the board? Either way, why does he still have a job? We have a very weak school board that tolerates too much of this nonsense.

One wonders how the Beaufort County school board ended up with an attorney who lives in Durham and practices with a Raleigh law firm? Even more so, why did a nominally Republican-majority board go with an out of town attorney who at least recently, and maybe currently, has been vice chairman of the Durham County Democrat Party, one of the most far left county Democrat organizations in the state. Looks like they have got some 'splainin' to do, especially for those incumbents running in Republican primaries.

That is not the only contract that the current leadership of our schools has taken away from a Beaufort County citizen and given it to someone outside the county, often at greater cost to the taxpayers/
