My question is: Why did we not know of any of this massive fraud and corruption before now?

I can understand why we did not learn more during the Trump administration due to the activities of the Non Patriot Left and the Non Patriot RINOs working against the Executive branch under President Trump; however, why did the corrupt Obama and Biden administrations not do something to stop this "waste, fraud and abuse?"

Washingtonian: I have sought answers in open session, and I will continue to do so because of the symbolism in this public affair is of such a sorry nature.

Now, as your county commissioner, I will continue to probe for these answers in public because it is such a public affair, and all that needs to be known, needs to be known by all, and it needs to be known publicly, and as much as can be possible by everyone at the same time.

This is how I see the political process.

I can personally attest that the Beaufort County Commissioners (at least the Real Republicans) had issues with the Center-Left Coalition's lawyer, who did make a dramatic and concerted move to become just their lawyer rather than attorney to the entire board. That sorry situation is a matter of record (and I possess all the sorry details), and there was nothing the more knowledgeable, more experienced commissioners, of far greater integrity, could do about it because of the RINO infestation on the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners.

Considering all the incompetence that is legend on the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners, it has been quite frustrating ... primarily because my intellect does not work well at that lowly scaled level of existence; serving with those who cannot think past the knot of an issue, and, moreover, are better suited at doing what they are told.

The School Board problem appears to be just as easily a similar matter of gross administrative incompetence, but until elections yield firmer talent, we are all stuck with these so-called decision makers, errant, indecisive, manipulated.

Maybe with the Trump election, and his brilliant mad dash at the onset to govern with abject integrity, I am hopeful that we politicians of the purest integrity, we real Republicans, will now have that strong political wind at our collective backs. We will need, and should welcome all the momentum we can muster.

I won't speak for the School Board, but I am a solid authority on the Beaufort County Commission's incompetence and corrupt practices, therefore, I am well aware of how to fix the debilitating problem of terrible governing.

Effectively present the truth, win elections, and the corrupt /incompetent politicians, and their associative bureaucrats WILL BE GONE.

Momma Mia: I will request the long awaited, and far-TOO-LATE-of-a-title-search on behalf of Beaufort County's taxpayers as I represent them, their best interests, irrespective of being in the minority of those commissioners who firmly believe in wiser, limited, and far less corrupt government here in their county of Beaufort.

Our taxpayer's paid for that title search; they paid for that monstrosity of a building to be built on the lowest point of that piece of ground, with the its defective title, an they absolutely deserve to see it "warts and all."

I personally could do a title search, even though it has been years since I have done so, and I do well understand how to forensically follow the chain of title; however, it is the responsibility of the county government to show a measure of incorruptibility, and perform that title search on behalf of the people.

It might be better if I request a public information request since the taxpayers own that title search already that was recently done.

Also the City of Washington does not consider me, or anything I am involved with to be real.

I just do not believe that their poor politicians, or their flagging bureaucrats possess the mental acuity to know what is real. Case in point, I nearly begged the city government to do their website, and when it came to getting it done, I was not invited to bid on it.

The problem there for me is two fold , which I do realize at this point: 1) The City of Washington will always pay more for any product or goods and services if they can purchase said goods / services out of the area, and in this case out of the state; 2) Additionally, due to the mental acuity factor in their flagging bureaucracy, the City of Washington is foresworn to constant and unmitigated mediocrity.

As a provider of value in everything we do here at SNI, my level of service would never qualify, since I would have been the low cost provider; additionally our complete inability to be mediocre in anything that we create would have been detriment in the City of Washington's level of mediocrity always desired when spending the public's money.
