Oh Geeess. For crying outloud!
After our invasion of Iraq, our Govt had to reveal,
that even Iraq didnt have "weapons of mass destruction."

My vote is for Hood.
He has always been trying to save money for the citizens.
One can be a safe politician and a nobody, or one can stick their neck out and always find someone willing to chop it off.
At least when we call him, he doesnt say, "I dont know, I'll have to ask the county manager (the way Washington council members do.)
About those 7 loads of deeds hauled away. Where were they hauled to, the dump? I know people in genealogy who will pay to own old deeds. People buy them on Ebay too.
Were the deeds offered to the the Archives in Raleigh. They preserve old documents like it were gold. If they were dumped in the trash or destroyed, then Carolyn should resign for that reason alone. I dont think she had the right to make tht kind of decision on her own.
Where did the docs go?? Was money made off their transfer? Or did we pay to have them destroyed?

Its laughable to think tht the Govt can control the climate. Yes they can manipulate weather, but in regards to the climate, they can never know if the scams they are perpetrating might actually be doing the reverse of wht they desire, and might actually bring about an unintended disaster. I think there are several examples of these disasters. (burning batteries) and (whales/birds & wind farms).
I think the simple solution is to work to prevent waste.
The most offensive thing to me is that producers are allowed to make and sell products that are NOT even intended to last long term. So all those things go in the trash, and the energy used to create the stuff was also wasted. As it is said: Waste not, want not.
Go lobby govt to demand products that make you glad you bought it. But dont hold you breath on making them hear you.
What if we all just stop buying stuff. You really dont need all those things.
Again... just my 2 cents worth.

It was empowering.
What doesnt kill u, makes u stronger.
Your problem Bob is that u havent thot very deeply abt th real ppl who actually live around you.

My Mom as a young wife didnt even hav a refrigerator. She wrapped food in a blanket & sat it on th porch.
As a child, I lived in a homebuilt trailer. Our water came from a hand pump and our bathroom was a thundermug.
As a teenager I slept in a 2nd story room that was so hot, I would go soak my head in water & then come back to lie 2 inches from a fan.

As an older teen, we only had 3 tv channels, and had to walk all the way across the room to change the channel.
All kidding aside,
I recommend that no one judge another person, until they have walked the path of another, or experienced that same path.

And, by the way, we are all individuals, NOT a group that can be stereotyped.
Furthermore, no matter how hard your life, it doesnt make it ok to harm others. The 10 commandments are good rules to live by.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Once again, it is not the Mayor that is the head of the snake, it is the City Manager. Our Mayor is like Biden, he knows that the snake protects him.
By the way... to ANYONE who has a city email address or writes to a city email address...be very careful, I have reason to believe that the city manager has access to all of it.

One more thing, whatever became of the public records request, by Gary Ceres, requesting Housing Authority records??? It still matters ya know.

Should the government allow a 12-year-old to mutilate his/her private parts if a parent says so?

Nikki Haley says yes.

This alone should end her campaign.

BB: I just want to sue the City for current corruption. I have no idea what you mean about decades old.
I had hoped you had some insights... but at long last we have reached an end.

OMG Bob, are you a public school counselor?
Do you think everyone is as young as you are?
I am very near my 8th decade and I dont need to hear that "life is not fair," or "changing the world is hard," or start with "your own little corner."
This IS my corner... Washington, IS my goal. I've started, but no one wants to start with me!! Not even u, who blame all white people for "life not being fair" to you.

We cant change the world because everyone is sitting there thinking... "they came for him" but its not my problem. Soon there will be no one left to speak for any of us... because "there will be no one left."

None of us are safe!

BB I was hoping you might have local solutions, or at least a way of thinking out of the box. Instead I hear from u that tired old story about "we" get the govt "we" deserve. CAnt you see that "the system" has gone beyond discriminating against black ppl and is now discriminating against all people (except the insiders). The city of Washington is corrupt and therefore, so are its police. As long as we elect ppl who defer to the white city manager, it will continue.
Perhaps you could influence your brothers to stop being puppets for the manager and his hired guard dogs. Paid for by WeThePpl. NO BB we dont deserve a corrupt system. When it comes to the voters, it is NOT a white vs. black thing. We are all victims. WHERE are those PUBLIC RECORDS requested from the HOUSING AUTHORITY??
WHERE ARE THOSE GOPers who claimed they were running for council/mayor to protect WeThePpl?
...Waiting for the next election I guess.

My point is we get the corruption and the cops that the lawyers are willing to put up with. There are none that will challenge them on behalf of citizens.

It makes me think of the bible. Gods says show me one moral man and I wont destroy the city.
I think show me one dedicated, constitutional warrior attorney in the region and ... the city will be spared.

Ooops, we will just have to bend over and kiss our butts goodbye!!

Corruption exist, and none are held accountable, because the system requires a lawyer to take action. Prove me wrong.

BB: my school board issue was almost 3 decades ago, so that one doesnt much matter now. However i did point out the slack lazy attitude of a school board member who didnt think he should be bothered. I bring that up because I think that attitude is a lingering, on-going human nature problem. My hopes are tht;local elected people might see themselves and change their ways.

BB: :You once mentioned you didnt trust police.
Whats your solution to a corrupt local govt, with abusive, civil rights violating police on the payroll?
Commented: Monday, December 4th, 2023 @ 3:21 pm By: Washingtonian
A couple of decades back, I was at a school board meeting because I had an issue I wanted to address. At the break I spoke with one of the members. He looked at me and said: Look, we board members dont have time for all this, and cant know about everything. We have a life outside of this. We have a job, we have a family and children of our own to deal with.
THAT's WHY we have a STAFF!
I thought to myself, well why are you even here?
Personally, I think the staff have their own clique going on, and work to make sure that the board is kept in the dark about most issues. A Board member MUST be diligent. He/She MUST seek out knowledge!! Dont take the lazy way out, because that is how we end up in the mess we are in.

Big Bob, I'm wondering if you are on this platform just complaining & bitching like the rest of us, or if you have associations that can hold ppl accountable for corruption in city and state govts?

What I have found is that the reason there is so much govt abuse of its citizens is because no lawyers are willing to take cases that challenge even a small govt such as Washington. That's why they walk all over us, and dont even bother to provide public records as is required by law. Its a thumb in our face. The system is rigged against us.
What's YOUR solutions?

Does anyone here remember when the bust of George Washington was the logo and symbol for Washington High School? Seems logical doesnt it. It's Logical for the school in the City of Washington,NC, which claims to be the first named after President Washington. But,it ended in the early 90s when the WOKE agenda came to town. This was b4 'woke' was known, & b4 it was mainstream to tear down statues and rename all the schools. Yes, I do believe that Washington High School was the first in the entire nation to fall to that Woke disease.

It seems it was the idea of a senior class advisor. Who convinced a small group that they should decide for the entire school from here on after to be rid of George Washington in favor of something "less outdated." So they chose a shield, a coat of armor, embedding some ancient Greek symbols, such as Mercury's wing feet, aladdins lamp and the comedy and tragedy mask. So relevant. NOT!

If they could remove George so easily, why cant we bring George back?

Speaking of Attorneys, does everyone know that our City of Washington Attorney was reprimanded by the NCBAR?

What is the school boards attorney's name? One can never be surprised about who may be found listed there for disciplinary action.

Geees I must be older than u guys. "Colored" people was the polite term that polite ppl used to refer to Negro race. The rude term was the N word. Negro wasnt used much either, because when said, it was often mispronounced sounding a lot like the N word. Around 1970 Negroes decided they wanted 2b called Black or Blacks. Being polite we agreed. Then it changed to Afro-America. Later Al Sharpton realizing he needed a bigger minority army invented, black & brown ppl, which meant of course "all ppl of the world" vs. white ppl. In a few yrs it changed to "ppl of color." Which sounds a lot lik "people of society" or "ppl of wealth." They like that over just the term "colored." However I must say I hav color too...I'm not th crayon color of white. All ppl of all races r diff shades of color. I get confused tho. When is a white Negro, a black person? Seems to me that person had privilege when growing up. I know some Caucasians that r so dark, one would confuse them as African. Stop the nonsense

Sadly, I think it is factual... humans have only one foot out of the cave. Civilization has caused a lot of conformity, yes, but when chaos comes, we revert right back. Could it be that is why the left continually cause so much chaos. A collapse is what they want.

"Bringing Woolly Mammoth-like creatures back to the tundra could, in theory, help recreate the steppe ecosystem more widely. Because grass absorbs less sunlight than trees, this would cause the ground to absorb less heat and in turn keep the carbon pools and their greenhouse gases on ice for longer. Large numbers of the animals would also trample snow cover, stopping it from acting like insulation for the ground and allowing the permafrost to feel the effects of the bitter Arctic winters. Again, this would, in theory, keep the ground colder for longer." Source:

Nikki Haley is NOT eligible to be President.
As with Kamala, she is NOT a natural born American.
Yes she was born in the USA, but not to parents who were NOT USA citizens.
At birth one could say she owed loyalties to two different nations, thus NOT a Natural American.

At least twice, I have heard Biden express how efficient authoritarianism is. He sounded like a man who yearned for the same power.

But dont all the power-hungry, at all levels yearn for that quick easy efficient way to get what they are pushing. Yes even at a small city govt level, that sort of power can be created, when those who are elected surrender their ability to make judgements, to the city manager. Authoritarianism shows itself. Everytime a council member says, "I dont know, I'll have to ask the city manager, we see it raise its ugly head.
I have seen things in Washington that reveal we too are a police state. It happens when no attorney will take a case that challenges the city govt and its police. If I'm wrong, tell me who takes cases like that?

Well let me ask you this concerned taxpayer.
Is Bobby going to just go quietly off into the sunset, or is he going to be the hero that his supporters thought he was? There is a choice there.

By the way, it is the City manager that makes city corruption possible. I dare say that council members couldnt find their butt with both hands.

About the FOIA request... can we do a class action lawsuit? Or a petition to authorities at the state level. Maybe Bobby could lead that.
