Herschel Walker would have at least had the good sense to vote Right and not Stupid.

My father, who spent much of his life working in south Georgia, once joked, but in a most serious manner back when Jimma Carter was president, that "Junior Samples was the smartest man to ever come out of Georgia, and Billy Carter was runner-up."

In times exemplified by the 2020 and the 2022 elections in Georgia, one should give great pause to wonder: Was Robert Earle Deatherage expertly speaking truth to satire way back in 1977.

You wrote of these people and their "hate," so I requested you to provide a standard of who they are, not an opinion of how we should all just get along.

I reckon if you wanted to put me in one the many boxes that bigoted Leftists do, as is their normal matter of course, I too am a proud "Nationalist," and since I am of western European descent (about every country north of spain and west of the Lusatian Neisse River), I reckon one could consider me "White" as well.

If anyone were to label me a "White Nationalist," there is a formidable chance that I would inquire specifically: "Then what are you, a Non Patriot Racist?"

Yeah, I could see me asking that with a smile on my face ... but still unflinchingly meaning it in a most direct, and incredibly accurate manner.

The truth of who Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson was, at his core, is possibly a far more interesting story. If not for the accidental friendly fire felling of the inspiring and brilliant general at Chancellorsville, the War Between the States probably would have turned out far differently, and one can only wonder what this unified Republic would have become.

John, I think you failed to mention the Emancipation Proclamation, which was not proposed by Lincoln until January 1, 1863, nearly 2 years into the Civil War, completely expresses the greatest priority regarding the North was preserving the Union.

The Emancipation Proclamation was a political maneuver to change the course of the war that was not going well for the North at that time.

The job ain't Rocket Science, however, it may be for what passes as politicians at all levels of governing these days.

Then there is the constant comment; heard it today: "Nobody wants to work any more!"

And who is responsible for the prolonged Covid debacle? It was not me and it was not Hood, that I know here locally.

Everyone smart credits Covid, and the way it was mishandled, as the topping off point for what has become an overall sorry workforce that must change, and it must change quickly, or this Republic will NOT endure. It is that simple.

Big Bob you may be right ... for some Republicans here in North Carolina.

You neglected, however, to leave out the third leg of that proverbial stool of exceptions for abortions, in which you did state "rape and incest," but that neglected third exception would be "severe health risks," which is still an exception here in North Carolina.

The abortion conundrum is the most difficult issue to legislate, since it does involve the restriction of a woman's Free Will in lieu of the natural protection of an unborn child.

For any lawmaker in any state, it is tantamount to the lawmaking conundrum of when to exercise the Death Penalty for crimes against humanity. I see no difference in the severity in this level of judgement for general assembly lawmakers here in North Carolina.

It is such an awesome responsibility, it might would be wise for Democratic Socialists to NOT make such an issue of Abortion, and instead better consider the many smaller laws regulating the conduct of who we are, and who we could become as a People.

In that simarially awesome regard, issues of Abortion, and even environmentally "Saving the Planet for Human Usage" would take care of themselves by US all becoming better stewards of how we conduct ourselves, thus in taking care of OUR most precious things.

One thing I do know for sure, our better actions, by listening to our "better angels," would cut down on what I like to call the Grand Hypocrisy of Others, which right NOW is at an all time high; with the most frivolous among US generally being the greatest hypocrites in continual practice.
