I was a young boy in the 60's and grew up loving his music. It wasn't until a few years ago when I was helping out my partner on her 60's BBC local radio show, when I was researching Ray Whitley. I had chosen one of three songs to play and talk about and discovered he had passed away in such sad circumstances.
There was also no information about him on Wikipedia except for a 1930's singing cowboy with the same name, which caused lots of confusion for me. I'm not sure but the guitar you mentioned may well be connected to the singing cowboy 'Ray Whitley,' also from Georgia. So I created a new Wikipedia page for him and his vast amount of music which stopped him getting mixed up with the old black and white film star. I also started collecting all his music from YouTube and made a home for it on his website www.raywhitley.com It will be four years tomorrow since his passing and I would just like to give something back to the memory of a man and his music that touched myself and countless others all over the world. |

Sir I enjoyed you comments on the Fairtax, very thoughtful ones. I had not thought of the Fairtax in relation to the ACM and yes the ACM tax would be affected by the amendments of the Tax Code eliminating the IRS and its tax collection duties. So even the ACM ta would still exist, there would not be any mechanism to gather information and collect it. Your fears of having both an Income tax or Vat tax plus the Fairtax are reasonable but not likely because first because the law implementing the Income tax and the IRS is repealed by the Fairtax and once we go even one year without the income tax I cannot imagine any one wanting it back, but if the companion bill repealing the XV1 Amendment is not passed in seven years then the Fairtax is automatically repealed.

Its absurd to think someone isnt a good choice because they dont have previous political experience. Career politicians seem to be self centered and corrupt. We'd be better off if more good people were willing to run and really represent the people instead of themselves and their cronies.

These governments that condone illegal migration are out of touch with their citizens. Other places in Europe like Belgium and the Netherlands are starting to see anti-migration demonstrations turn into riots. Just a few weeks ago, a building slated to be turned into a migrant shelter was set on fire in a Dutch town by angry citizens.
