Governor Pat McCrory has appointed William B. Sutton Jr. as District Court Judge for the 4th Judicial District, which covers Sampson, Duplin, Onslow and Jones counties. Sutton fills a vacancy made by the retirement of Chief District Court Judge Leonard Thagard.
