NO, the crime here is a Biden supporter trying to assassinate President Trump. His political contributions and his posts on the Gab social media site show what he was politically. If he did not use one means, he would have used another. Fertilizer can make very powerful bombs, so should we ban that?

The problem is the climate of personal gate that the far left has generated against Trump. Nutjobs have lots of ways to kill. This scumbag flew a drone at the rally site shortly before the assassination attampt, and he had homemade bombs in his car and at his house. He could have put an explosive on the drone to carry out the attempt. So maybe we should ban drones? Germany, which still has HItler's stringent Reich Gun Law in effect, has had terrorist attempts on politicians and the public with venicles, knives, and even a syringe, and deaths have resulted. You can't ban everything a nutjob might use to attack either a politician or the public.

Policy is what is important, not personality, in the 2024 race. The Democrats and their media allies have generated a lot of personal political hate against Trump, and that atmosphere they created led to the assassination attempt.
Anyone looking at this race logically will look at the records and compare them. Trump had a great record of success while for Biden-Harris it has been failure on top of failure. Trump is also a lot more mainstream, while Harris is far out loony left.
