California law provides for voters to remove politicians in the middle of their terms by recall. A petition is circulated, and if it gets enough valid signatures, it forces a vote to remove the politician in the middle of their term. It would not surprise me to see recall petitions start to circulate on both Governor Newsome and Mayor Bass.

Only Democrats could do something so outrageous. With the Los Angeles wildfires still out of control, the California legislature pays no attention to them, provides no resources for victims, but instead spends their time and the taxpayers money oh a partisan political fight with President Trump. They should hang their heads in shame. This is a party that cannot govern.

Under Newsome, the sanctuary state of California has been spending lots of money on illegal aliens, including giving them more medical covoerage. It is likely that fire protection was one of the things cut for those additional funds for illegal aliens.

Many individual Democrat voters do not agree with their politicians when it comes to illegal immigration. Democrats may well wear out their welcome with their own electorate on this issue, but they may be starting to get a clue. Thirty Three Democrat US senators have joined Republicans to pass cloture on the Laken Riley Act, so it will pass the Senate.

Zuckerberg relizes there is a new sheriff in town, a president and a House and Senate majority that values free speech. He wants to get right with the forces of free speech, but if censorship hounds Kamala Harris and Tim Walz had gotten in, I suspect it would have been a different story.

Facebook's censorship in the Covid regime was appalling. The world's oldest medical journal, the BMJ (British Medical Journal) of the British Medical Society published a peer-reviewed scientific article that disagreed with the Fauci narrative, and Facebook censored it. That led to an editorial signed by both the outgoing editor and the incoming editor calling out Zuckerburg by name and denouncing him not only for trampling on freedom of speech but also academic freedom. Zuckerburg never responded. There was also an incident where the director of Oxford University's Center for Evidence Based Medicine made a Facebook post referring to a Danish university peer reviewed scientific study that also disagreed with the Fauci doctrine, and he went ballistic when Facebook censored that post.

Not really a fan of KP, but I have new found respect for her.
I would not shake the hand of the man who tried to kill me or my spouse.

Btw- that act alone is a statement that says more about the truth of what happened Jan.6, and she never said a word.

BB wrote: "Mike Pence wears red lace panties under his suit."
Since when do u have the right to judge a man who chooses to wear red lace panties? BB have you now chosen the self-serving superiority role of "Karen" of the clothing police? Your self-righteousness knows no bounds.
Someone out there knows who u are and are not pleased with what they see in you.

There is way too much stinky backroom politics going on in our county. Citizens need answers. Stan, you need to put this on the agenda for a public session where it can be brought out who said what to whom and why others were kept in the dark. This whole fiasco just reeks of corruption.

Commissioner Richardson states that, "The Superintendent and the School Board Chairman represented to the City of Washington that they had consulted with (all of the) commissioners and the land trade would not be approved by the County Commissioners."

If that statement is true, and after 24 years of serving with Beaufort County's most senior commissioner, I have learned to know that one should employ grand discretion if ever discounting the validity of Commissioner Richardson's venerable declarations, I also declare "lies" were definitely told.

As the second most senior commissioner on this board, I have never been consulted about this problem of land title between the Beaufort County Schools and The City of Washington, nor was this issue ever discussed in an open meeting of Beaufort County's top governing body - The Beaufort County Commissioners.

If this issue was discussed privately by the Center - Left Coalition (a splinter coalition of four, membered by 2 Democratic Socialists and 2 RINOs, who swap votes to share power here in Beaufort County), I was not consulted and neither were the other two Real Republicans - Commissioners Hood Richardson and Tandy Dunn.

Our School Board has a history of poor planning in school construction and renovation, and this isn't their first rodeo of screwing up. We saw a lot of that in the last bond referendum and the poor planning that went into that. The real problem is that we have had a hands-off rubber stamp school board that has been just window dressing for a power-bully superintendant who really runs the show. The superintendant is playing this construction in the way that most benefits his resume for a job in a higher paying larger school system, not what is best for Beaufort County. We need a School Board that will take charge and remind the superintendant that he is the employee, not the boss.

Too much of this process has been done in the backroom controlled by the superintendant and now the cracks are showing. Putting T.W. Allen to go to meetings with the superintendant is a joke because T.W. Allen is a pathetic lap puppy for the superintendant and just does what he is told by the superintendant.

Why in the heck did the school board not figure out that the city owned 4 acres of that school site early on and deal with it before getting this deep in the process. That was absolute incompetence by the superintendant who has been running the show.

We need a new superintendant and we need one badly, but we also need a school board that will step up and represent the citizens like they are supposed to and not be sock puppets for an out of control power-bully superintendant.

It just keeps coming out on these feckless California Democrats. That liberal mayor had actually pushed a $23 million budget cut for the fire deparment, but finally agreed to only a $17.6 million cut. She was warned those cuts would lead to risk of disaster from a major fire, and, guess what, it has. The mayor was also warned of major fire danger conditions setting up before she jetted off on her taxpayer paid junket to Africa, but she went anyway.

Governor Newsome deliberately dumped the water in California's resevoirs into the Pacific Ocean back when rainfall had them full because of some obscure environmentalist argument, so the water was not there for the fire hydrants in fire season.

The policy blunders are legion in this fiasco from the liberal Democrat politicians.

The Board is asking questions that they should have known the answer to before they voted for the contract. You will recall that the approval vote for the contract was rushed through at the first meeting the new board members were installed. They could not have had access to the information that they were voting on. Cheeseman is not an engineer, and he is leading the pack on what they should do.
If this continues, we will have a school that houses 1000 children five to eight years old who have to be bussed or dropped off by their parents. Those who are familiar with bussing know that they are not going to want to put a five-year-old on a bus. If one-half of the moms of one thousand children decide to drop off and pick up their child, it means that (500) five hundred cars will line up for morning and evening at one of the busiest intersections in Washington. Strategically placed schools would make a lot more sense, but that would not be a monument for Cheeseman. Parents get involved.

BS, Little Bobbie. The globalist left is working to supress free speech all around the world, whether it is the US, Europe, or Australia. The leftist Green Paries are the very worst offenders. Law Professor Jonathan Turley, one of the leading defenders of freedom of speech in the US says the the Biden regime was the most anti-free speech administration in US history.

The right wants free speech for everyone. Elon Musk is a very good example of that with what he has done with Twitter and to expose the left's suppression of free speech.

It stood to reason that LIttle Bobbie would eventually get a far left talking point like that, and regurgitate it here. Look at my first comment on their thread two days ago. Now he has.

Let me explain some REAL climate science to Bobbie. Climate and weather involve a number of alternating climate cycles, some lasting months, some a year or two, and some for centuries. For California one set of cycles that is particularly important are the El Nino / La Nina cycles which rotate and tend to last a year or two, maybe three, and then reverse. An El Nino cycle which includes heavy rainfall just ended and a La Nina cycle with low rainfall and a propensity for higher winds just started earlier this year. California had a lot of rain from El Nino causing lots of brush to grow, followed by the drynees of La Nina that caused it to dry out, setting up a bigger fire danger. Add to that the La Nina propensity for higher winds when the annual and predictable Santa Anna Winds arrived, as they always do this time of year.

This had NOTHING to do with CO2 and everything to do with the El Nino / La Nina cycle.

The climate alarmist mafia are very predictable. The analogy to the medieval church for their pagan cult is a solid one. Anything bad that happens they want to jump up and blame on the fantasy "manmade climate change". These grifters are making billions off of this scam and they want to keep the gravy train rolling. They rely on low level know-nothing lemmings like Little Bobbie and Greta Thunberg to keep parroting their propaganda.

The "medieval attitude" that many migrants have toward women extends to women and girls of all ages from toddlers to grandmothers and to children of both sexes. This is particularly true of Muslim migrants but also of Latin American illegal aliens. We see this in the many sexual assaults which in Eueope have included illegal aliens even raping their own daughters and mothers.

In Australia and Europe, illegal aliens have had the arrogance to tell judges that they should not be prosecuted for raping young boys because it is something that is accepted in Muslim culture. Do we want that in America? One of the widely reported rapes of a young boy by a migrant happened in Vienna where a 20-something Afghan migrant raped a 12 year old oby at a swimming pool, doing damage to the young boy that had to be repaired surgically. After the rape, the migrant went back in the pool like nothing had happened. When the police arrived, he told them it was no big deal, that he had had a "sexual emergency" because he had not had sex in several months. At trial, he argued that he did not understand that the boy objected to being raped because he did not know German and did not understand what the boy was saying.

It is good to see more politicians understanding this illegal immigration problem and how they are a threat to women and children.
