Strong economy under Biden? YOu must have been smoking something other than a tobacco product or just parroting propaganda from the far left talking points. In reality, our economy is facing devastating government debt than has mushroomed under Biden and will be difficult to get under control. The economy also is suffering some of the worst inflation in our history, 23% in four years, due to bad economic policies of Biden. Job reports have been a joke because they present something overblown, then months later revise it to much lower levels. Even then most of the new jobs under Biden have been part time or for illegal aliens. The percentage of working age citizens who are in the work force has declined under Biden. The Biden ecomony is stuck together with bubblegum and will need the expertise of Trump and his team to get it back on track.

This is not like the situation between Biden and Soros. Trump has quite a pile of cash of his own. And Trump is term limited and cannot run again, so he does not even need any cash for a reelection campaign. But once Bolshevik Bob sinks his teeth into those far left talking points, he is like a snapping turtle and won't let go, even when the far left talking points are patently absurd as in this case.

Why in the world would Speaker Johnson engage in this sellout with Senate Democrats? All he would have to do is pass a clean 3 month continuing resolution through the House, and then let the lame duck Senate Democrat majority decide if they want to shut down the government over some pork barrel they want. My guess is they would not, but either way it would be a win for Republicans. Is Johnson just that stupid or is it there was some pork in there that HE wanted?

Commented on The unintentional consequences of Luigi MangioneSean Hannity mentioned a recent case from Canada's horrendous health care system that shows why Canadaians who have the money to do so often come to the US for medical care.
A 60 year old woman needed a knee replacement, a common and routine surgery in the US which can be scheduled in a matter of weeks. In Canada, she had a six YEAR waiting list during which her condition deteriorated and she suffered considerably increased pain. She finally got her surgery, but she had to be transfered to another facility to have the wound from the surgery closed and that facility had no beds available. She had to wait EIGHT DAYS with an open wound before a bed opened to have it closed. By then, her flesh had started dying. She had to have the leg amputated. That is how government run health care works, and it is a very evil system. CAnada and the UK are the same. Waiting lists kill and also cause other adverse health outcomes.

Commented on Elected Officials – Persons of InterestWill - the State has enormous power and can take away your constitutional rights if convicted. Fair. However, with that power comes responsibility. These people will get out someday and return to our neighborhoods. Its good policy to treat them with some dignity or face the consequence of turning them into monsters.
Should they get steak? No. But a varied healthy diet of which a peanut butter sandwich qualifies is the right thing to do.

Commented on Elected Officials – Persons of InterestSome of the jail inmates are serving time. Misdemeanor sentences are served in the county jail. There are also people there for contempt for not paying their child support, and also those charged with serious crimes who cannot make bond. Under our local Democrat judges, bond policy in our judicial district has been liberalized to the point that bonds tend to be small unless the criminal offense is extremely serious.

Socialized medicine kills with its lengthy waiting lists. In the UK, most doctors in the socialized National Health Service get private medical insurance so that they can get good and timely care in the parallel private health system because they know first hand how bad the socialized system is. Australia has a similar parallel system, but Canada does not, leading many Canadians to seek decent and timely medical care in the US. I remember an article a couple of years ago in one of the British newspaper about three men all diagnosed about the same time with the same type of cancer at the same stage. One mortgaged his house and paid cash through a private hospital in the UK. He was cured. Another went abroad (India or Turkey if memory serves) to get treatment at a much cheaper cost. He was cured. The third waited his turn on the National Health Service waiting list. When they got to him, his results showed the cancer had progressed too far and was inoperable. He died. That is how waiting lists kill in socialized medicine.
