Commented on H-1B data mega-threadThe Indians have earned little sympathy in Congress because nearly all of them were imported by investors and their executives to take career-starting, mid-skill white-collar jobs that would otherwise have gone to young U.S. professionals.
The Indians are allowed to take desirable careers from Americans because many U.S. employers use the H-1B, L-1, J-1, TN, OPT, CPT, and H4EAD programs to hire low-wage foreign graduates, mostly for entry-level jobs. Indians get roughly 70 percent of these visas. These programs are uncapped, do not require the jobs be offered to Americans, and do not require a skills test. Only the uncapped O-1 “genius visa” requires proof of prior accomplishment. Those numbers suggest that at least 600,000 Indian H-1B workers now hold white-collar jobs needed by American graduates. More than 500,000 other Indians hold jobs via other visa programs. This inflow is cheered on by executives who can convert every $1 in payroll savings into $20 of additional stock value. www.breitbart.com Follow the money.

Tom Homan is clearly wasting no time getting the deportations of illegal aliens organized, and it is great having partners like Ms. Buckingham in Texas pitching in.

The one on these boards who is clearly a self loather is Bigot Bob, at least if he is telling the truth about being white. He tells the truth about so little, that might not even be true.

Remember that folks, be regular and normal. If you're not sure what that is, ask Stan.
RH- try as you might, it's hard to re-write a history that's on video tape.

Why would Bigot Bob even think about hanging Kamela Harris? I thought he used to love her. The famous threat to hang a vice president was made by President Andrew Jackson during the South Carolina nulification crisis when he threatened to march federal troops in South Carolina and hang his vice president, South CArolinian John C. Calhoun. Instead, he eventually climbed down and gave South Carolina most of what they wanted.

Translated from Bigot Bob's Orwellian Newspeak, when he says "None of this is true" it really means "all of it is true."

Commented on H-1B data mega-threadThere he goes again. Bigot Bob tries to bring race into everything, and it is usually not appropriate like here. The big abusers of the H-1B visas are the crooked woke corporations like Disney. Those abuses do need to be dealt with.

Van Zant: All Leftists ascribe powerful words to describe regular /normal Americans, because these words, like "hate," describe their own feelings of who these Leftists truly are, and then by transference, for everyone else far different than the ordinary Leftist, thus they operate on that level of stereotypical behavior that only they somehow understand.

Being for types of energy that are expensive and unreliable like wind and solar is the same thing as being anti-energy. Merkel's idiot "energy transition" in Germany has given them the highest residential electric rates in the world, three times what we pay in North Carolina, and it has put their whole economy in the toilet with companies closing and moving abroad. The UK's "Net Zero" (or "Net Stupid" as the Reform Party calls it) is in the process of doing the same there.
Here is a good article on how bad the German economy has gotten due to the "green energy" madness: rmx.news The globalists get their panties in a twist over CO2 but that is NOT a pollutant. It is necessary for plant life. Without it, all plants on Earth would die, followed qucikly by all animals. Modern scrubbers remove virtually all of the real pollutants from coal emissions.

No body is anti energy. Nobody.
Each source has a cost associated with it. The public is tired of paying the freight for polluters. We all need to share in the cost.

Commented on H-1B data mega-threadH-1B visas are temporary non-immigrant work visas that do not give a path to citizenship. They require a high level of skill. The concept behind the program is good but it has been badly abused in recent years. This is a program that needs to stay but be reformed to eliminate the abuse of it. They are not supposed to be used to replace American workers but cynical companies have used them for just that purpose, and Disney is an example. One reform that would improve the program is to add a very high penalty for any company found to be eliminating jobs for American workers and replacing them with H-1B foreign workers. H-1B is supposed to be a supplement when American workers are not available and that purpose should be enforced.

Everything depends on energy, and when you raise the cost of that, it makes the cost of everything go up for the consumer. It was Biden's anti-energy policies as much as his big spending that have been responsible for the inflation during his tenure. Attempts to raise the price of energy such as that by New York have to be stopped, or it will cost all of us. Considering the impact on interstate commerce, I cannot see how that move will be allowed to stand.
