Everyone responsibe for this travesty needs to be identified and fired. Government services should not be denied upon politics, race, gender, or any other thing that separates people.

Solar is just as bad. It stops producing every night with reducing production in late afternoon and early morning. Other weatehr conditions like rain, clouds, snow, frost, fog, etc. also reduce or eliminate power production from solar. Wind and solar are indeed expensive and unreliable.
Power prices in wind and solar obsessed Germany are the highest in the world and that is causing an upsurge in bankruptcies of German companies, as well as German companies moving abroad. Wind and solar are a sure way to kill an economy.

Commented on Lessons learned from the electionKamala Harris and her blatantly lying campaign were sure enough a big loser in this election season. To paraphrase her campaign: It's OK that we elected Hitler because it's a lie that Trump is Hitler. Yeah, that's pretty convoluted.
In a season of lots of losers, I think the biggest loser is the corporate main-stream media. They went all in on the deceitful Harris selection by the Democrat powerbrokers and their horrendously dishonest campaign first to last. They were (and are) not practicing journalism. They are fanatical, dishonest advocates. It has all been exposed, and the corporate media is left with zero credibility to all but the most radical, the most ignorant, and the most stupid among us. Our society has for quite a while been replacing this corrupt institution with other sources. After this election, that process should be much closer to completion. Another monumental loser in all of this is the NC GOP and the citizens of North Carolina. Trump won North Carolina in spite of the pathetic pay-for-play NCGOPe that abandoned the Republican Council of State candidates and left us a disaster at home in a year of a Trump landslide. In NC the GOP must be reformed. If not, it will continue to rot into oblivion. Perhaps the GOP in NC is in the process of being replaced too. Already, conservatives are being forced to find support outside of a hostile GOP while running under the GOP banner. Congratulations to those candidates because they, like Trump, have had to do it the hard way.

Commented on Lessons learned from the electionThe American voting system has been fairly strong, although it lacks some key safeguards, like nationwide photo voter ID, which is best practice for election integrity around the world. After the UK put it in place starting with their last local election, the US is now the only industrialized nation that lacks this very fundamental election integrity measure.
What screwed up our 2020 election was that partisan Democrat shyster Marc Elias filed lawsuits all around the country to try to weaken election integrity measures, with those lawsuits often dealt with in the backroom with "sue and settle" deals with Democrat election officials. What got things almost back to normal this election was two things. First, some of the Elias shananigans were reversed, and second Republicans deployed lots of attorneys to deal with those still in place to keep the election honest. Some of the Elias garbage still exists some places like unattended ballot drop boxes and expanded mail-in voting, and to really secure our election system, those need to be completely reined in.

Commented on Election ResultsCENSORSHIP and ELECTION INTERFERENCE:
"A new report claims that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has attempted to manipulate the “Community Notes” fact-checking feature on X, formerly Twitter, by suppressing negative content about Harris and amplifying negative content about former President Donald Trump." "According to The Federalist, the Harris campaign has directed political volunteers to block Community Notes on X that they 'don’t like' and manipulate the social media platform’s fact-checking program. The Federalist claimed that one individual on a Harris campaign Discord server admitted that one of the campaign’s goals is to have political volunteers work to 'block [Community Notes] we don’t like.'” FROM: americanmilitarynews.com

Good point: I understand the BC GOP worked for at least one Democrat in a race with a Republican candidate. The good news is, she won anyway.

Commented on Lessons learned from the electionThe American election system is strong. Everything MAGA said about it was a lie. What MAGA did was dangerous. This group will piss on you and tell you it’s raining.
Let’s see who they turn on first. It shouldn’t take long to find out.

Commented on Election ResultsRepublicans flipped another Senate seat as Pennsylvania's Bob Casey falls to Republican Dave McCormick. Republicans now hold 53 senate seats and Democrats 45, with two still counting and too close to call.
It looks like Trump will have GOP majorities in both Senate and House.

Commented on Lessons learned from the electionI think the abortion issue will now be dead and buried. The Democrats have cried "wolf" on that for too long and they did it too loudly this election. All of their scare stories about Trump and abortion will soon be shown to be outright lies, and they will never have credibility on that issue again. As the new Trump adminstration progresses, all women will be able to see that the sky is NOT falling and they were being played by the Democrats.

Commented on Election ResultsDemocrats kicking all the Republican poll watchers out of the rooms where ballots were being counted in multiple big urban counties in swing states, all about the same time, is not something that happens by coincidence. The difference between 2020 and 2024 was that this time Republicans knew what to expect and were prepared for it.
As to election denial, here is the chairman of the Democrat National Committee shooting from the hip and firing blacks as he tries to make up something wrong with NC elections this year: redstate.com

Commented on Election ResultsBut the Democrats are not alleging election fraud, and neither are their media mouthpieces. No Democrat poll watchers were excluded en mass, and the incidents involving Republican poll watchers were remedied early. There are probably some violations of election law out there that ought to be investigated and prosecuted, but nothing has appeared that would raise questions about the election outsome.
Curiously, the Biden-Harris DOJ prosecuted and jailed a comedian whose satire on all the ways the Democrats were arragning for people to vote for "election interference" but when liberal Jimmy Kimmel on his TV show told Trump voters to go to the polls on the wrong day, nothing happens to him. There is a huge double standard at the DOJ.

Commented on Election ResultsBefore
SD Democratic Socialists in complete control of their corrupt local and failing societies, and so many other illegal practices too numerous to mention, I am reasonably certain that the smartest people in this Constitutional Republic do realize that great cheating has occurred SR There should be attorneys standing by to help fix that problem before it festers and becomes a big question mark on election integrity as it did in 2020. RH " It is the cheating that should be focused on. If you chear and win, that should be contested. If you cheat and lose, that should still be prosecuted if possible. CV The actual prosecutors in Pennsylvania are finding that these are real and serious problems even as the crooked Dmeocrarts try to sweep it under the rug. RH Big cities are where the crooked Democrat machines of today are located, and have been for years like the Daley machine in Chicago and Tammany Hall in NYC. Afterwards : Crickets

I hear you, Van Zant. Mo Green as superintendant of public instruction is like having Lenin in that position. Green is of the extreme left. NCGOP was totally inept in standing up for our conservative Council of State candidates like Dan Bishop and Michele Morrow. NCGOP were useless. The conservatives who won like Luke Farley and Mike Causey did so on their own. Two of the "Republicans" elected might as well be Dmeocrats - Briner and Boliek. Last election, Briner was registered Unaffiliated and took a Democrat primary ballot, and he works for gun control boss Michael Bloomberg. His good buddy and ally Boliek is not much better. With "Republicans" like Briner and Boliek, who even needs Democrats?

We indeed dodged a bullet in the NC Supreme Court race. We didn't dodge the bullet in the Superintendent of Public Instruction race. I largely blame the absolutely inept NC GOP for that. In fact, in a year where NC was highly motivated to vote for Trump in the presidential race, I completely blame the NC GOP for our abysmal showing in the Council of State races. They do not deserve my support.

This is even more attrocious than what is done in the US. Many US weather stations that were once at least semi-rural are in areas that have been urbanized with lots of concrete and asphalt around them. Those are the ones that show increases, not the ones in areas that are still rural. It is a chnnge in their surroundings, not in the climate, that sends terperature recordings higher. But it does not surprise me that they have been caught just making it up.

Commented on Election ResultsI expect Trump will move quickly to take us out of those ridiculous Paris Climate Accords. This time, I hope he does it by submitting it to the Senate as a treaty, and when it fails to get two thirds, that would keep any future Democrat from just rejoining the scheme.

Commented on Election ResultsWill the margin temper the rumblings of leftwing groups that having been openly mulling an insurrection? Even major Democrat consultant James Carville a few weeks ago when the handwriting was on the wall called for an armed insurrection to stop Trump from actually becoming president. Hopefully, we will not see that type of ruckus from them.
ANTIFA has already mobilized in Seattle on election night after they saw Trump winning and did some shirkmishing in Seattle: www.zerohedge.com It is also to be hoped that the plan publicized by powerful Democrat congressman Jamie Raskin to have Congress declare Trump ineligible to receive Electoral College votes due to J6 will be shelved. If Republicans keep the House, they would not be able to get to first base with it anyway.
