The situation with the UK's Conservative Party is really sad. Boris Johnson, a "small c" conservative, led them to a landslide victory in the last election. When a minor scandal erupted over Covid policies within the prime minister's residence, he seemed to be about to weather that storm when he was suddenly stabbed in the back by his number two in government, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak and a couple of his allies, leading to Johnson's resignation. Sunak wanted the prime minister's job for himself. Under Conservative Party procedures, the Conservative members of parliament narrowed the choice for prime minister down to two and those two were submitted for vote by individual party members. Sunak was the top choice in parliament, but small "c" conservative Liz Truss easily defeated Sunak among the rank and file and became prime minister. Some big financial operators, who happened to be buddies of Sunak then went after the British pound financially, and the Bank of England, whose governor was a close Sunak ally refused to intervene. Truss resigned. This time in choosing a new prime minister, it was left just to parliament and the grassroots party members were not allowed to vote. "Fishy Rishi" Sunak then became the prime minister. Party polling under Sunak has been terrible, and backbenchers in parliament have been manuevering to try to replace Sunak with someone more electable, one possibility mentioned being a return of Boris Johnson. To protect his own flank, Sunak then called this election early.
This election is likely to be a low water mark of the Conservative Party, given the dislike of Sunak among grassroots Conservative voters, the strong appeal of Nigel Farage, and the fact that the right of center vote will be divided. Sunak has badly blown Johnson's landslide, and has set the stage for an almost certain Labour majority.

Commented on Malicious damage to our schoolsThe taxpayers should NOT have to pay for this vandalism when we know who did it. Has Cheeseman extracted the money out of the perps or their parents? If not, they should be prosecuted, and that can still be done. At minimum if Cheeseman is covering for these delinquents, Cheeseman should have to pay for it himself. Has Cheesemen even bothered to find out how they got the key and fired whoever was responsible for that?
Will our pathetic rubberstamp majority on the school board hold Chesseman's feet to the fire on this? Sadly, probably not, when we have such pathetic jokes as T. W. Allen and Mack Hodges sitting there like bumps on a log.

Commented on Malicious damage to our schoolsThis is nothing short of a coverup by Cheeseman, and he should be fired for it, and the $15,000 taken out of HIS paycheck. If these were graduating seniors, they were likely 18 and should be prosecuted as adults. If CHeeseman does not make a full public report, then the school board needs to force him to do so.
The 57 should have been called in and forced to clean it up and pay their share of damages at the very least, but none of that was done. So what they could not walk across the stage? That is no punishment. They also need to get someone to fess up to providing the key and that person needs to be fired. Put all possible staff suspects on a polygraph if necessary.

From the start, I refused to get the Covid-19 vaccination because I have never gotten a flu vaccination because I don't want to mess with my immune system. I was mocked and labeled a right wing MAGA conspiracy theorist and lost friends who shunned me.
I started to read everything I could get my hands on. I read medical and scientific journal reports, geopolitical articles, economic reports, policy reports, testimonials etc. I have always been a progressive liberal but I started to see that something had happened to the left where they had become compromised and became supporters of the establishment and supported restriction on free speech and in favor of censorship to supposedly protect us from misinformation that I just knew was not. And a whole new World had manifested that turned my world upside down. It was so disorienting and painful for me. I couldn't even get people to engage in discussion with me partly because people were totally unaware of what was happening.

Commented on Malicious damage to our schoolsThough I sometimes disagree with Uncle Hood on perception of politics, the old man brings up interesting points that, with a little discernment and critical thinking, opens up the floor for a whole 'nother discussion.
To cut to the chase; if the public is circulating "gossip" and law enforcement wasn't notified, somebody is trying to either stage a political maneuver to deflect attention from something else going on OR somebody's covering up an inside job. I find it both alarming and highly unlikely that young'uns out at the High School were able to get access keys, enter and maneuver undetected.....unless they had help from certain members of staff OR certain parts of the building were left open. When I attended school there 17-18 years ago, we knew how to slip in and cut corners, as all kids do, but we respected the Principal at the time, Mr. R. Holloman, and only pushed our shenaniganry but so far. We were smart enough to know that if we tried anything, we'd get our asses smoked.

Stan - Soros is NO "superman". What he is is super rich, and willing to spend that money to advance his radical globalist totalitarian ideology. A big pile of money can buy a lot of things, like DA races. Soros is the biggest contributor to the US Democrat Party and has been for some time. He sticks his crooked nose and his money into elections all over the world. In recent years he has also been trying to buy media to control the flow of information.

For those who read the article, the US Court of Appeals has ruled that the mRNA jab is NOT a "vaccine". Being cautious about mRNA is NOT being "anti-vax".
mRNA is the hill you might actually die on. Take the statistics in Taiwan, previously linked on this site. They were very strict about recording Covid deaths ONLY of people for whom Covid was the actual cause of death. Unlike the US and some other countries, they did not record deaths from things like motorcycle accidents, gunshot wounds, cancer, falling off a ladder, or similar things as Covid deaths just because the body tested positive for Covid. After several months of giving the mRNA Covid jab "vaccines" they released the mortality rate from the Covid jabs, and during that period slightly more people died from the "vaccine" than died from Covid itself. Then there is the recent whistleblower from New Zealand's medical statistics agency who revealed their government's own statistics on "vaccine" mortality. The government never denied the accuracy of what he released but they arrested him for releasing it as they wanted to keep it quiet. That showed almost a 1 in 100 chance of dying from the mRNA "vaccine" with a few batches having mortality rates from the "vaccine" of over 10%.

When you think about the upcoming US debate, look at that picture with the British candidates all standing behind podiums, like all previous American presidential debates have been conducted. This year, however, the decrepid Joe Biden, who is falling apart, insists that the candidates sit at a table instead. If Biden can't function, why the heck is he even running?

You can find bad eggs in any judicial system, but New York seems to have a whole lot more of them than most systems. Worst of all, we have a globalist totalitarian, George Soros spending hundreds of millions of dollars to plant bad eggs within our judicial system. Alvin Bragg in Manhattan was one of those Soros planted, backed by his millions in contributions. Soros should be jailed by racketeering. It was good to see that the Florida Supreme Court just upheld Governor deSantis' removal of another crooked Soros DA in Florida, and a recall election is set to remove another one of them in California.

Commented on Unpacking the corrupt Biden jobs reportBiden's fake jobs report shows how his regime manipulates data for false claims. Most of his claimed "job increase" -231,000 out of a total of 272,000 claimed - came from one arbitrary adjustment to the calculation. That is the adjustment for "business births and deaths" (business start-ups and closures) and as the Bloomberg chief economist points out, they adjusted that in the wrong direction for what is actually happening in the economy. If that was adjusted the correct direction, the report would have undoubtedly showed an overall job loss.
To look at what is happening in just one industry in one state, it is estimated that 10,000 jobs have been lost in California last month as hundreds of fast food restaurants close and others cut staff in response to the new $20 an hour minimum wage in that state.

Commented on CNBC reporting that some Supreme Court justices have accepted many gifts, though not illegallyCareful, Bolshevik Bob. Your hero, Slow Joe Biden accepts similar vacations all the time, as did Obama.
The point is with speaking fees like the Clintons used for political payoffs involved unreasonably high fees as a way to launder money. I am sure your far left talking point tell you to hammer this because it is part of the leftwing effort to intimidate the Surpeme Court with so many critical cases pending like the key First Amendment case of Missouri v. Biden. The justice that is scary on that one is radical Katanji Jackson-Brown who has stated that the "First Amendment should not hamstring the government".
