I have learned more about this bushwhacking that makes it stink even more. Kidwell did not make that remark in debate on the House floor. He was in a break room when the Democrat legislator was carrying on a conversation some distance away rather loudly and said when she had an aborttion, she had gotten the blessings of her church to do it. Kidwell, who was at the coffee mahcine muttered under his breath "must have been the church of Satan" not loud enough for the Democrat legislator to even hear. However, a News and Observer reporter standing closer to Kidwell did hear it and was the one who raised a stink about it

The four GOP establishment legislators who demanded Kidwell resign as assistant majority whip included three who had ambitiions to be Speaker themselves after Tim Moore and considered Kidwell a rival to their right. Speaker Tim Moore was not one of the driving forces in this, although he probably signed off on it, but John Bell was in the thick of it.

Caving in to a whiny, grievance oriented Democrat posturing as a "victim" is bad enough, but colluding on a far left media hit job is even worse. Since its takeover by that California chain, the News and Observer has gone from garcen variety liberal to hard left.

I'm calling Greg Murphy's office tomorrow. This is something that Walter Jones would already be leading the charge against. Murphy seems to be on the fence. If he votes for this excrement sandwick, he should not expect votes from my family or I ever again, and he can expect that we will get behind any conservative primary challenger that comes along. We are getting clobbered by inflation, and that idiot McCarthy wants to let the Democrats keep on spending. That is just unacceptable. The piece linked above that says that McCarthy's deal is worse than the $1.5 Trillion "clean" increase is absolutely right. They haven't even cut out those 87,000 IRS auditor thugs.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) will always be with us from now until the end of our time, so I am resolved to know all I can about it, use it if necessary, but never embrace it.

Two rules of thumb that I will promote and remain committed to, and these are: 1) AI will never replace the human touch and I will train my eyes, my ears and my intellect to know the difference; 2) Never, and I stress NEVER become complacent with AI, always understanding well that AI will always represent will always be humans vs machines until the end of time.

Complacency will lead to the end of us. That I am well aware of.

Also in the meanwhile, always be wary of humans that are too willing to embrace AI unconditionally. These humans will eventually show tremendous character defects at some point, so be aware of this indicator of such.

Well "FedUp" I agree Jesus was with sinners & prostitutes, but I don't see in the good book where he pushed being "WOKE" on children!! So called Christian Conservatives need to be speaking up and pushing back against this evil
and realize what's going on with the children. Jesus is love and he loves ALL and gives us all a choice. You can do whatever you want being an adult, that's between you and GOD but leave the children alone!!! I love my gay family members just as much as the rest of my family. Do I agree with thier life style? NO, but hey it's thier life to live, that's between them and the Father. Pushing this constantly over & over and anyone that speaks against it says it's "hate" and should be condemned is just wrong. We are a country based on freedom so do whatever you choose to do as an adult but it shouldn't be thrown in our faces constantly. Even though Genesis speaks of man & woman which we know the good book says we don't want porn between a man & a woman on public display!!! That's to be done behind closed doors in private!!! So do whatever you wanna do in private, it's the choice you make that GOD gives us all. Just stop pushing it and leave the children alone. So not ALL Christian Conservatives judge whatever you as an adult want to do with your life.

When I heard this on the radio and the reason for it, I was dumbfounded. This is using a sledgehammer to swat a fly. There are a lot worse things said all the time in politics. So now we have an explanation, the political gamesmanship of John Bell trying to damage potentiial opponents for the next Speaker's race. That stinks. This is the same John Bell who was just one of the kingpins in screwing NC taxpayers with the Obamacare Medicaid expansion and last year screwed electric ratepayers with the NC Green New Deal. Bell is not anyone we would ever want as House Speaker. This is just one more example of why NOT.

Does anyone other than me believe that the whole "Mostly Peaceful Insurrection" of January 6th was concocted by the Deep State to justify cheating all it took, even wiping out the last shreds of credibility of a flagging Democratic Socialist Propagandistic Media; then begin the decline of the corrupt Democratic Socialist Social Media; then engage absolutely corrupt multiple county boards of elections just to allow full blown ballot harvesting of tens of millions of floating ballots just to elect a full blown idiot and most pliable president - Idiot President Biden?

We have been trying since 2017 to get this passed in North Carolina and it really hurts to have the NRA stop this bill. I know alot of people who are moving away from the NRA because of this however we will continue to keep pushing our politicians to get this passed into law regardless of what the RHINOS want this may be a setback and make our fight longer but we will get it done I encourage everyone to call your representative daily until it becomes law
