Jim Bispo raises some troubling questions about the Anointed One's commitment to insure Americans' safety and about the preferential treatment given atheists over Christians

Watching the news and seeing how our Constitution, our freedoms, and our way of life are being abused every day by the Anointed One and the folks he has appointed to run the various Departments makes it more and more difficult to retain one's composure.

The Anointed One claims to be a Christian American. After listening to his preacher we can only wonder what kind of "Christianity" was preached by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Seeing how often the Anointed One and his family attend Christian Church services only reinforces our discomfort with the "Christianity" the Rev. Wright was preaching and the Anointed one was "practicing".. Seeing how difficult the Anointed One seems to find it go after and get rid of Islamic terrorists is enough to make one wonder. The treatment afforded Sgt. Berghdahl who reportedly walked off base in Afghanistan and into the arms of the enemy and the "price" paid for his return adds to the wonder. He seems to have less trouble making decisions that do violence to the American way of life than he does when Islamist terrorists are involved. Think inviting Central Americans to send their kids here with an implied promise of amnesty and an American education - on the long suffering taxpayer's dime.

When we do (finally) decide to "take on" Islamic terrorists, we are saddled with "Rules of Engagement" which surely make if more difficult to "get" the bad guys and even more surely results in more US casualties than would otherwise be the case. And then when we capture one of the bad guys we insist on trying captured terrorists in civilian courts (with all the constitutional rights that go with that). And now we even seem to be willing to partner with Iran (at what price??) in our efforts to "get rid" of (or is it really contain??) ISIS. Let us pray that John Kerry and the Administration don't get involved in an unholy alliance with Iran. Instead of "making nice" with them (while their centrifuges continue to spin) we need to reimpose the sanctions Mr. Kerry has "softened" (to keep the unproductive negotiations going) and add some really tough sanctions to those. Let there be no doubt that there will be hell to pay when Iran gets their "bomb". Iran reportedly is one of the big supporters of ISIS, so why would anyone in their right mind want them as an ally against ISIS?? AP reports concerning the "negotiations" with Iran certainly imply that Mr. Kerry (seemingly and presumably at the behest of his boss) is more interested in arriving at a deal than he is in the substance of the deal. It is as though he and the Anointed One believe the personal political gains accruing from some kind of deal are more important than the long term security of the United States...

It frequently seems almost as though the Islamists are getting preferential treatment from this administration.

And how about the Anointed One and his sycophants treatment of Atheism. The kid glove treatments the Atheists get seem similar to the way the Islamists are treated. Their "Lets remove all references to the Almighty from all public places." campaigns are offensive and disgusting to most Americans, yet they get away with outrageous anti-Christian behavior. Even the Anointed One tells us that we are no longer a Judeo-Christian nation. Reportedly he also tells us that the Islamic call to morning prayers is one of the most beautiful sounds ever heard. Those kinds of things sound an awful lot like presidential wishful thinking. At the same time, they certainly give us a hint of a Presidential mind-set.... As long as the Anointed One is President, it looks as though our Judeo-Christian beliefs are (and will remain) under attack.

Amendment I of the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; ..." (emphasis added)

One of the definitions of Religion provided in Dictionary.com is as follows, "something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience:"

That would surely describe the Atheists who seem to be in a perpetual state of turmoil over Christianity. It certainly points to Atheism as a religion. It occurs to me that Atheism which seems to be the root of a lot of the court cases against things Christian is close enough to being a "religion" to be treated as one. That being the case, do you suppose that the government, by allowing all the victories the Atheists (and the ACLU) seem to be winning against Christianity in this country either in court or by intimidating local governments and some merchants (who often seem to "cave" without even a second thought), constitute supporting the Atheist religion?? Or do you suppose that denying Christians the right to celebrate their God when and where they would like constitutes prohibiting the free exercise of religion?? In the meantime we provide prayer rugs to our Muslim prisoners in GITMO. Hmmm...

The Atheists along with the ACLU seem to be dedicated to turning our country into a totally secular place and the government and courts seem to condone it - in what I would view as violation of our constitution. Or am I not reading the First Amendment correctly?? Back in "the day", a lot of people (I believe most) thought the constitution meant to limit the scope of "central" government. Unfortunately that horse is surely out of the barn already, and it isn't clear if it can ever be recaptured. But it is surely worth a try...

The Atheists and the ACLU are certainly entitled to live without our God in their lives. But are they entitled to force the rest of us to do so?? Short answer: NO... Are they entitled to force the rest of to not even acknowledge our God?? Again, the short answer is: NO...

In the olden days, we were taught that one of the reasons that "Freedom of Religion" occupies such a prominent in our constitution is that "Mother England" was bent on forcing their church on us. We wouldn't stand still for that at the time. It's too bad that our interpretation of Freedom of Religion seems to have morphed into Freedom From Religion.. We see the latter term more and more often.

It certainly begins to seem that the Atheists and organizations like the ACLU are trying to force us to live under their Godless religion, something that cannot - and should not - be tolerated. If those organizations want to "take on" a religion, perhaps they should be "taking on" Islam which seems to be a much greater threat to America than does American Judeo-Christianity.
