Shame on our government for pursuing policies that promote this type of behavior in human beings. And shame on them for knowing this occurs and continuing to fund and enlarge such programs and policies, while punishing decent, honest, productive citizens through excessive taxation.

Government has lost sight of what its primary purpose is - to protect and secure the individual rights of Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness (ie, Property and all that comes with it). It's purpose is not to make people comfortable and happy in their sloth and unethical devices.

GS & Stan: Tech Writing 101 and Sermons require data references. Old Testament: Kill them all and New Testament: Turn the other cheek. Only Investigative Reports have facts. We need to reference the data or our Comments are Opinions.

Ted McD posted some comments on his personal office page, which he has wisely decided to close to other commenters, about the information available regarding Walmart's practices. The subject is worthy of a separate post and I may broach the subject at some point. Let me restate my position on this: My efforts are to try to force the conversation toward dealing in facts rather than wild accusations. The post clearly indicates that the problem is a system that allows individuals and corporations to take actions that are their best interest. My libertarian leanings tell me that the SYSTEM at fault as well as the participants.
