Beaufort County to UHS Agreements Made Available: The Disposal of the Public's Hospital (update) | Eastern North Carolina Now

Publisher's Note: The Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners are in the final throes of negotiating the Probable Lease / Sell (actually a give-away to UHS of a 55 million dollar public asset) of Beaufort County's Hospital. This is what the public, as expressed by a majority of the public at the many Public Hearings (as required general statue), wishes the commissioners to do.

This is a part of the Public Record, which was shot in video, and preserved for the public for all posterity.

It will be done as a Lease with a Purchase Option Agreement, which is being hammered out by the Commissioners through their attorney, Bob Wilson.

Here below is the press release from the county office of those intentions as prescribe by North General Statue.

   This is an update.
