    Ms. Seanda Jeffires, age 62, a resident of Washington, NC died Wednesday January 29, 2020 at her home.

    A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date in Greensboro.

    Ms. Jeffires was born in Guilford County on June 3, 1975, daughter of the late William Otis Jeffires and the late Ora Marie Meyers Jeffires. She was a 1977 graduate of Page High School in Greensboro and continued her education at Pamlico Community College in their CNA program. Ms. Jeffires worked at Greenhaven and Britthaven Nursing Homes both in Greensboro. She attended Church of The First-Born Church in Greensboro.

    Survivors include a son: Eddie Jeffires of Greensboro; a daughter: Erica Williams and her husband Adrian of Washington; two brothers: Darryl Jeffires of Greensboro and Haywood Jeffires of Texas; four sisters: Hope Glover of Greensboro, Faith Graves of Burlington, April Lachiusa of Texas and Tonya Ross of Greensboro; four grandchildren: Ra'Qwaun, Shyrell, Takeria and Noah Jeffires. Ms. Jeffires was predeceased along with her parents by three brothers: Andre, Bosaye and Don Jeffires and two sisters: Shelia Key and Jewel Howard.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Beaufort County Relay for Life, Attn: Memorials, P.O. Box 2708, Washington, NC 27889.
