On Tuesday afternoon the Biden campaign announced that Democrat Senator Kamala Harris of California will be Joe Biden's running mate in the November presidential election.

Given Biden's obvious cognitive issues she could be president within a year after a Biden win and may be de facto president from the very beginning of the potential administration.

The Harris choice is a safe pick and does not say a lot about the courage of the campaign. It gives the radical Left what it wanted, only a candidate of a certain color and gender. To logical people that is called racism and sexism. To Democrats that is called diversity.

Harris will do the ticket little good in her home state of California, as it is already deep blue, and her effete image may not draw black Americans to the polls nationwide. Her background as a district attorney in San Francisco, not to mention her personal background in regards to intimate mentor Willie Brown, may give her headaches with voters across the political spectrum.

In debate she tends to be shrill and non-factual, as Joe Biden himself witnessed during the Democrat primary season. With this choice Biden plays it mundane and inside baseball. Voters may not reward the lack of vision and imagination.
