What Does This Election Prove? | Eastern North Carolina Now

A friend asked Smartfella, “What does this election prove?” My response is below...

I'm not sure what this election proves. It's sortalike...

  • The county election center is busy counting 100,000 ballots on election night.
  • Just as they finish the head election guy says, "Wow! 90,000 of the 100,000 ballots were for Trump!"
  • All of a sudden the building catches fire and everyone escapes but the building and everything inside the building is destroyed.
  • An hour later the head fire fighter guy stands in front of the smoldering ruin and tells the assembled media, "Everything is gone. There must not have been any ballots inside the smoldering ruin".
  • Joe Hiden issues a statement that someone else wrote for him, "This is an abomination! There were ballots inside the smoldering ruin. My people tell me that there were 100,000 ballots inside that building and 90,000 were for me. I am hereby petitioning someone or other to award me my legally cast and certified by someone or other 90,000 votes and throw Trump's 10,000 votes out cuz the American People don't like his demeanor".
  • A federal judge appointed by FDR rules as Hiden has requested.

Dat's what this election "proves".

************

My friend then asked me how we were enjoying the beach. I responded...

It is great! The only bad thing is periodically my wife turns on the TV to watch the news. On past trips we did not turn on the TV all week. It's probably because she wants to know what this election "proves".

Would I kid u?

"Joe Hiden." I almost corrected this, and then I got it. Nice one.

That is right up there with my "Covid Joe", or "Just Plain Covid Joe, from Scranton".

Your analysis in this post is also spot on.
