Mrs. Deborah Moss Suggs | Eastern NC Now

   Mrs. Deborah Moss Suggs, 47, a resident of 8293 N.C. Highway 306 South, Aurora, died Friday, July 13, 2012.

   A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Christ Vision Church of Blounts Creek, officiated by the Rev. Ray Webb. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington. Daniel Suggs, Mitchell Suggs, Joshua Suggs, Ellis L. Suggs Jr., Justin Andrews and William Peele will serve as pallbearers.

   Mrs. Suggs was born in Chester, S.C., on July 12, 1965, daughter of the late Dennis Michael Moss and Myra Gail Miller Moss. On Dec. 28, 1981, she married Ellis Lewis Suggs Jr., who survives. Mrs. Suggs was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted herself to serving and caring for her family. Mrs. Suggs was a Christian and a member of Christ Vision Church of Blounts Creek.

   In addition to her husband Ellis, of the home, Mrs. Suggs is survived by three sons, Joshua Suggs and wife Jamie Suggs of Plymouth, Mitchell Suggs and wife April K. Suggs of Aurora and Daniel Suggs and wife Samantha Suggs of Aurora; a brother, Russell Jones and wife Mandy of Salisbury; three sisters, Denise Hoagan and husband Michael of Union, S.C., Gail Waters of Union, S.C., and Mickela Rosenbaum and husband Alan of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Tyler Andrew Suggs of Plymouth, Rain Suggs, Cloe’ Suggs and Lillie Faith Suggs, all of Aurora; a stepbrother, Mark Oltjenbruns of Atlanta, Ga.; three stepsisters, Stacy Jochum of Atlanta, Ga., Tammy Bourek of West Point, Neb., and Teri O’Neil of Savannah, Ga., and many nieces, nephews and friends.

   The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
