    January 12, 2022 - Publisher's note: Due to a publishing SNAFU, I have been remiss in my duties, here at BCN, regarding the proper categorization of county government publications; in particular, the Enhanced County Government Videos, begun August 1, 2019.

    Therefore, to thoroughly correct this miscue, I will make the proper categorical correction, and bring these archives forward beginning on January 12, 2022; mixing these historical patterns of fact in with the current news of our day.     May our Representative Republic never again lose its collective mind, when calm and effective leadership would have well sufficed.

    Beaufort County Health Director Jim Madson keeps Beaufort County citizens informed, through his monthly address to the Beaufort County Commissioners, of developments regarding Covid19, as this deadly China Flu is finally, and hopefully, under the control of probable Herd Immunity; however, variants Delta and Omicron are doing plenty of damage, and many unanswered questions still linger beyond the Federal epicenter of all things Covid, all the time ... Covid Joe, the Idiot Du Jour notwithstanding.
