    Make no mistake about it, we are losing the war on energy to the Left.   The evidence is obvious and grows more so every day.   What every American needs to realize is that what is happening to energy in this country is an essential part of the Left’s plan to transform this country.  What is happening is no accident.  It is intentional.  

    The evidence is clear.   Biden cancels the Keystone Pipeline project and drilling leases/permits on federal property on day one of his administration.  Tightening federal permitting requirements on all drilling, including offshore, further restricts supply.  This creates a hostile environment for energy companies who become reluctant to invest.   Result:  energy prices soar.  Crude oil, vehicle fuel, home heating oil, natural gas, etc. increase in cost to levels never before seen in this country.  The price of electricity also increases dramatically and continues to rise.   All this results in the highest inflation in forty years and will get worse.   Your standard of living is declining at a pace equal to this inflation rate.  You can thank Joe Biden and the Leftist Democrats.   

    This is not only a reduction in your standard of living, but a serious threat to the security of the United States.  Instead of energy independence that we achieved under President Donald Trump, we are now seeking oil from dictatorial regimes such as Iran, Venezuela and Russia.   Only someone who hates America would institute policies that we have seen since the Biden administration took over.  Why do we rarely hear from people like Bernie Sanders and Ocasio Cortez?  They are getting exactly what they want that is why.   They use the lie of climate change to justify the destruction of energy in our country.  The fact that there is no scientific evidence of manmade global warming is conveniently ignored.  All they have are bogus computer models which can be made to show anything.   

    If this is allowed to continue, America as we have known it will cease to exist.  A productive, expanding modern economy requires abundant and inexpensive energy.   We had that under President Trump. 

    So what do we do about it?   There is no compromise with evil that wants to destroy our country.   Compromise is what has gotten us to this point.     This is a war we cannot afford to lose.  Our very standard of living depends on the outcome of this fight.   First, we have to recognize that this is a battle we cannot afford to lose.  Second, we must elect representatives that not only recognize this threat but are willing to take action to defeat it. Third, assuming we can take back control of both houses of Congress this November, we must take immediate action to reign in the tyranny of President Biden.   Why should one man, through executive orders be able to destroy the energy sector of our economy?   Do you think that the Founding Fathers would have agreed with this?   I do not.    We need STRONG, BOLD leadership in the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.   Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy have to be replaced with leaders that have the courage to address these issues head on.  

    It is time to recognize the existential threat we are facing and do everything necessary to stop this war on energy.  Not only our future, but the future of our children and grandchildren hangs in the balance.  We must not fail.
