    History and Geneology - 9thgeneration American. I traced my family history in America from England to Virginia (1639) to North Carolina (1739) to Tennessee (1809) to Georgia (1998). I wrote a book, The Carlton Family, documenting 53 generations of my family.

    I am married to Dorothy Faye Scott who grew up in Washington Park. We have two daughters, Brooxie Baird and AJ Layo, and their families (and three grandsons) live in Nashville Tennessee and Atlanta Georgia.
