Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis will meet with Iowa Republican legislators in the state's capital on Friday ahead of an anticipated 2024 presidential run.

Bloomberg News reported that DeSantis will meet with members of the state House and Senate in Des Moines to engage in "the sort of retail politicking that's expected in the Iowa caucuses."

The governor will speak about his book "The Courage to Be Free: Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival" at the Rhythm City Casino in Davenport in the morning before traveling to the state's capital to speak at the State Fairgrounds, the report said.

Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds will join DeSantis, the report added.

DeSantis delivered his State of the State address in Florida on Tuesday, in which he highlighted the numerous successes that his administration has had and his battles with President Joe Biden's administration.

In his address, DeSantis highlighted Florida's success as the fastest-growing state in the country and ranking number one in the U.S. in numerous categories, including new business formations, economic growth among large states, tourism, law enforcement recruitment, education freedom, parental involvement in education, public higher education system, and space-related development, manufacturing, and flight.

"But now's not the time to rest on our laurels," he said. "We have the opportunity and indeed the responsibility to swing for the fences so that we can ensure Florida remains number one."

"Don't worry about the chattering class," DeSantis said in an apparent reference to those speculating that he may run for president in 2024. "Ignore all the background noise. Keep the compass set to true north. We will stand strong. We will hold the line. We won't back down. And I can promise you this, you ain't seen nothing yet."

DeSantis has said several times in response to questions about whether he will announce a 2024 presidential campaign that he wants to get through the next couple of Florida's legislative session before he sets his sights on what he may do about the future.

In the most recent Midterms Election, the "Republican Red Wave" turned out to be a "Republican Red Ripple," which, as in all elections, confounded the political prognosticators of what to expect down the governing /political road: What, and who, do you think is best for this meandering Representative Republic in the near future?
Because they know how to best allocate the public's money back to the right part of the public, the Democrats will NOW always prevail and get my vote.
With patriotic pragmatism the cornerstone of the best of the Republican Party, they will ultimately save this Constitutional Republic from self-destruction.
Since the Executive Branch is so important to turn this Representative Republic around, I am still on Team Trump in 2024.
Since the nation may need a different path to Conservative patriotism in the Executive, I am joining Team DeSantis.
Because I am entitled to take the government dole, the prevailing favoritism whenever possible, I will support any, and every Democrat candidate.
