Ben Shapiro: Clash Between Armenian Parents, Leftists Start Of Major Backlash Against Woke Agenda | Eastern NC Now

    Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro said that the clash between Armenian parents and far-Left protesters over the promotion of a pro-LGBTQ agenda to young children was just the beginning of a backlash to the Left's radical social agenda.

    Shapiro, the co-founder of The Daily Wire and a bestselling author, said on his podcast Wednesday that the clash of values would likely be the first of many between the Left and ethnic minority groups, who tend to adhere to more culturally conservative values.

    "This is going to be part of the future of the country," Shapiro said. "Essentially what you have is a cadre of upper-class white liberals who have a particular set of morals that do not match the morals of particular ethnic minorities in the United States, and the backlash is going to be very, very strong."

    The clash came outside the Glendale Unified School District's headquarters, where parents, many from the Los Angeles County city's Armenian and Hispanic communities, were blasting board members for promoting an LGBTQ agenda to young children.

    Shapiro said that most people did not support the "anti-heteronormativity" being promoted by the Left. He noted that many Americans were shifting to the Right because of the "radical social agenda being promoted by the Left."

    "The weird brand of anti-heteronormativity that's now being promoted in the West is being promoted by a very elite group of people, and the vast majority of people are not into it," he said. "They're not into that becoming the norm."

    Shapiro explained that this attitude was "particularly prevalent in exactly the diverse communities the Left pretends that it represents. Armenians are just one example of that."

    The issue has roiled the California district in recent days, with many parents, including those from ethnic communities, pulling their children out of school in protest. Some elementary schools only had a 40% attendance rate on June 2, The Daily Signal reported.

    One of the topics parents were upset about was males changing in female spaces. "I graduated from Glendale in 1996, and I have two daughters. My daughter is afraid to change in the locker room because she knows another guy could come into the room. When I asked the principal, he told me there were no cross-gender bathroom policies," one father told the school board.

    Outside the school board meeting on Tuesday, three people were arrested as parents confronted leftist protesters in masks and pink bandanas. It was not known who was arrested, but Glendale Police said the suspects "exceeded the bounds of peaceful assembly."

  No; the Woke fools must be toppled from their self-anointed pedestal; a functioning society of a good Constitutional people cannot withstand this level of "existential" favoritism as it exists now.

  I just observe; with this thoughtful observation: What will happen "when the Vikings are breeching our walls;" how do the Woke react?
