The Worst Woke Kids Content That Came Out Since Last Thanksgiving

Children's entertainment has been slowly becoming woke-ified over time, with the slippery slope turning into a perilous mudslide over the last few years especially.
While the kids shows and movies from a decade ago might have subtly hinted about the "evils" of the Pilgrims "stealing" lands from American Indians, now the indoctrination has become a lot more brazen. Turn on any cartoon these days and you're likely to find same-sex parents, trans flags, non-binary characters, conversations about white fragility, or animated drag queens leading a Pride parade (no, seriously).
For example, last Thanksgiving, Disney released the full-length animated film "Strange World." It was a total flop for the studio first and foremost because it was boring and forgettable. However, one major sticking point for parents was the gay teen romance at the center of it.
"Strange World" tells the story of a gay teen named Ethan who had the support of his parents, Searcher (Jake Gyllenhaal), and Meridian (Gabrielle Union). The family has to hunt for Searcher's father, Jaeger (Dennis Quaid), who went missing when he was a child, which they did with the help of their disabled dog. All the while, Ethan struggled to approach his love interest, a boy named Diazo. Even beyond that, the whole storyline was a thinly veiled advertisement for climate change alarmism.
"Strange World" was a flop at the box office and among Disney fans. This was especially interesting following the previous year's box office disappointment, "Lightyear," which was convoluted, boring, and included a highly publicized same-sex kiss between two minor characters.
It's no wonder that GLAAD lauded both Disney and Netflix for bringing about a record increase in "LGBTQ-inclusive" content between January 1 and December 31, 2022. You're not imagining it; they really are coming after children with a "not at all secret gay agenda," as one Disney employee infamously bragged about during a company all-hands.
This targeting can be overt but it can also be subtle. In a spinoff of the massively popular cartoon "Paw Patrol," which is marketed to toddlers and preschoolers, writers added a new "non-binary" character created by a radical leftist activist who was just delighted at the opportunity to introduce small children to LGBTQ concepts.
"They brought me on to consult on the first nonbinary character-meet River!!-for the PP universe and write their episode, talk about a bucket list item," Lindsay Amer, who runs the YouTube channel "Queer Kids Stuff," wrote on social media. The content creator also discussed the intentional messaging with River, including shoes featuring the trans flag colors.
"I wanted to write a nonbinary character that was aspirational and incredibly cool, someone for the pups (and kids at home) to look up to. They found an awesome non-binary actor to voice River and I'm so so happy about how it turned out," the post continued. Amer also shared photos of River's shoes.
"Peep River's [non-binary, transgender] kicks!" the activist added.
One of the most egregious upcoming follies for Disney is their live-action remake of the classic movie "Snow White." After being plagued by bad press and mockery, the studio pushed the project to 2025 and appears to have gone back to the drawing board after the film's lead actress, Rachel Zegler, bragged about deviating far from the original storyline.
"I just mean that it's no longer 1937," Zegler said of the new film. "We absolutely wrote a 'Snow White' [who's] not going to be saved by the prince, and she's not going to be dreaming about true love; she's going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be, and the leader that her late father told her she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true."
After photos of the "seven magical creatures" who didn't resemble the original seven dwarfs even slightly went viral, Disney appears to have reimagined those characters as well.
The constant virtue-signaling and woke-ified children's content coming from the entertainment industry has many parents looking for alternative options. Now, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. After asking for this type of content for years, The Daily Wire answered the call with Bentkey, a new adventure in kids entertainment.
As a direct response to Disney's woke remake of "Snow White," Bentkey will release its first live-action feature film: "Snow White and the Evil Queen." The film stars The Daily Wire's own Brett Cooper. As the company's co-founder Jeremy Boreing said, "it's a story about a princess and a prince, about beauty and vanity, about love and its power to raise us from death to life. It's our own adaptation of an ancient fairy tale."
Instead of getting into radical race and gender theories, Bentkey seeks to entertain and delight. There may be learning, and all the shows are inspired by traditional values and the pursuit of truth and beauty, but above all they are entertaining. Isn't that what it's supposed to be about?
Coming up, Bentkey has all-new episodes just in time for the holidays, and none of the content will include pandering, virtue signaling, or trans flag-waving nutcrackers. It will be wholesome, joy-filled, and entertaining for the whole family.
Several original kids shows are available for streaming on the new platform including fan favorites "Chip Chilla" and "A Wonderful Day With Mabel Maclay." The Benkey exclusive "Gus Plus Us" will also be debuting a Christmas special in December.
Stop letting your kids fall captive to woke content meant to confuse them. Now there's an alternative, giving parents the option for better entertainment for the next generation.
