    Raleigh, NC     Governor Pat McCrory signed 56 bills today, including:

    HB 317 (Reps. Blackwell, Farmer-Butterfield, Holloway and S. Martin) Improve Education for Children Who Are Deaf

    A bill that improves educational outcomes for North Carolina children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

    Reps. Susan Martin, Jean Farmer-Butterfield and Hugh Blackwell and Sens. Buck Newton and Warren Daniel joined Governor McCrory for the bill signing.

    HB 396 (Reps. Catlin, Moffitt, Millis and Hollo) - Enact Private Well Water Education Act

    A bill that enacts the Private Well Water Education Act at the request of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

    The governor was joined by Reps. Rick Catlin, Tim Moffitt, Chris Millis, Mark Hollo, DENR Secretary John Skvarla and DENR Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs Director Neal Robbins for the bill signing.

    HB 211 (Reps. Dixon, Brisson, J. Bell and L. Bell) Weight Limits/Animal Feed Trucks

    A bill that modifies the weight restrictions applicable to vehicles transporting feed that is used in the feeding of poultry or livestock when traveling within 150 miles of the point of origin to certain locations.

    Governor McCrory was joined by Reps. Jimmy Dixon and John Bell for the signing of HB 211.
