NYC seeks 14,000 hotel rooms to house illegal aliens for $2.3 Billion in 2025 | Eastern NC Now

New York City is seeking 14,000 hotel rooms for 2025 to house illegal alien migrants at a cost to taxpayers of $2.3 Billion.  That is essentially what they have spent this year, with about 150 hotels participating.  This has resulted in skyrocketing prices for Americans or foreign legal travellers for business or tourism.  It has also resulted in soaring crime rates, with NYC police reporting that 75% of criminal arrested in Manhattan now being illegal aliens, and 60% in Queens.

This is going on all over the country and is one of the reasons that FEMA is short of money for hurricane relief.  They have been subsidizing illegal alien migrants with emergency response funds.

Those who obey the immigration laws and immigrate legally to our country are prohibited by law from receiveing such handouts, so why in the world do we give them to illegal aliens who make a mockery of our immigration laws?

Multiple polls, including the most recent one from leftwing NPR, show that a substantial majority of Americans want mass deportation of illegal aliens.  President Trump has pledged to do that, while Kamala Harris wants to continue open border policies and give the illegal aliens citizenship.
