    Raleigh, NC     Governor Pat McCrory announced the following appointments today:

    Housing Finance Agency

    •  Christopher Parrish (Wake County) - Parrish is the co-owner of Parrish Manor, a manufactured housing community. He is past president and executive committee member of the NC Manufactured & Modular Housing Association. Parrish was also on the board of directors for the National Manufactured Housing Institute.

    •   Rodney "Gene" Davis (Wake County) - Davis is an attorney with his own practice. Prior to this, he was a partner with Davis, Flanagan, Bibbs & Smith. He currently serves on the agency as an audit committee member. He also serves on the North Carolina Housing Coordination and Policy Council.

    The board defines policies for affordable housing programs operated by the agency. It provides both financing and technical assistance to sponsors of renter and owner-occupied housing. The board works to develop a state affordable housing plan and consolidate operations of federal and state housing programs. Each term length is four years.

    North Carolina-South Carolina Boundary Commission

    •   Rep. Ted Davis Jr. (New Hanover County) - Davis is a member of the State House of Representatives for New Hanover County. He is also an attorney.

    •   Sen. Tommy Tucker (Union County) - Tucker is a member of the State Senate representing District 35, which covers most of Union County. He serves as co-chair of the Appropriations on General Government and Information Technology Committee.

    •  Andy Zoutewelle (Mecklenburg County) - Zouetewelle is the president of A. G. Zoutewelle Surveyors. He serves as the chair of the Charlotte Zoning Board of Adjustment. Zoutewelle is also a member of the Civil Engineering and Surveying Advisory Committee of Central Piedmont Community College.

    •   Robby Collins (New Hanover County) - Collins is the founder of Collins & Collins Law. He is the photographer for the Wilmington Rotary Club and is also the vice president of the North Carolina Azalea Festival. He will serve as president of the festival in 2016.

    ​The commission shall supervise the boundary surveys conducted by the state geodetic surveys of North Carolina and South Carolina, which are performed in cooperation, to locate and obtain positional data for existing state line monuments; to re-establish, if possible, the missing state line monuments; and to establish new monuments on the state line where deemed necessary. This is intended to protect the rights of landowners along the boundary and to clarify the jurisdictions of the bounding state and local governments. The commission consists of representatives from North Carolina and South Carolina. North Carolina law provides for the appointment of two commissioners and a surveyor to such a commission. Each member serves at the pleasure of the governor.

    Virginia-North Carolina Interstate High-Speed Rail Compact

    •   Randolph Lickey (Wake County) - Lickey is a partner and chairman of the corporate section at Williams Mullen. He serves on the board of directors for the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Rotary Club, once serving as a district governor.

    The compact studies, develops and promotes a plan for the design, construction, financing, and operation of interstate high-speed rail service through and between points in Virginia, North Carolina and adjacent states. It also coordinates efforts to establish high-speed rail service at the federal, state and local government levels. The compact advocates for federal funding to support the establishment of high-speed interstate rail service within and through Virginia and North Carolina and receives federal funds made available for rail development. Finally, it provides funding and resources to the Virginia-North Carolina High-Speed Rail Compact. Each member serves at the pleasure of the governor.
