New UK poll puts ruling Labour Party 3rd, behind BOTH parties of the right | Eastern North Carolina Now

First time Reform has been in second place, and first time Labour has been in third

As Prime Minister Keir Starmer's Labour government continues to flounder, one of the UK's respected polls has for the first time shown both major parties of the right ahead of Labour.  For the first time in memory, the Labour Party is in third place.

The poll by the major British polling firm Find Out Now, found that if the election for parliament were held today, the traditional Conservative Party would be in first place winning 26% of the vote, followed by the populist nationalist anti-immigration Reform Party at 24%.  The left of center Labour Party is third at 23%.

Among the smaller parties, the only one in double digits was the center-left Lib eral Democrats which placed fourth at 11%.

There are rumors that Elon Musk is planning to use one of his British companies to plow $100 million into the Reform Party.  This latest poll may help encourage that..  Responding to Labour's attacks on free speech, Musk has urged the UK government to "make Orwell fiction again."

A few weeks ago, the Conservative Party moved to the right electing firebrand small "c" Conservative Kemi Badenoch as party leader, replacing the centrist who bungled the last election.

Meanwhile, a pub owner put up a citizen petition on the government and parliament's online petition website that has called for a new parliamentary election and has achieved 3 million signatures. It received the 200,000 needed to require a response from parliament in six hours.  British voters clearly have buyers remorse for electing Labour.

The almost weekly bye-elections (special elections) for British local government seats, whose results on published in detail at "Conservative HOme" show that the Reform Party is pulling votes both from the Conservatives and from Labour, when compared with the prior election. The local government seats that Reform has been winning so far are seats previously held by the Conservatives. Too often, seats that would have easily been won from Labour if only one of the two right spectrum parties was running have been lost due to a divided vote. What that suggests is that a stand down agreement where Conservatives and Reform only run one candidate in each parliamentary constituency would give them a massive landslide, but will egos allow that to happen? Watching running data on these local government elections is a good way to watch the changing dynamics of British politics.

Bolshevik Bob is clueless as usual. Globalism is an ideology, and its biggest preomoter these days is the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Bobbie himself is usually found expousing the globalist ideology on this site, but he is just one of their lemmings. The globalist heavy hitters go to their semi-annual confabs at Davos. The WEF / Davos rich people like Soros were all behind Kamala Harris.

Trump is the anti-globalist, pushing back against the WEF / Davos ideology, and Musk spent his money to oppose that ideology.
