Jeffrey Russell Brundage | Eastern NC Now

    Jeffrey Russell Brundage, age 83 a resident of Greenville, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at MacGregor Downs Health and Rehabilitation Center.

    A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Jeffrey was born on March 7, 1942, in Genesee County, Michigan, to the late Kenneth Wilson Brundage and Beverly June Russell Brundage. He attended school in Flint, Michigan and served in the US Army. In April of 1991 he married Fran Rumley. Jeffrey was an executive in the Paper Division for Weyerhaeuser. He attended the First Presbyterian Church. Jeffrey loved fishing and car racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son James Brundage.

    Survivors include his wife, Fran Rumley Brundage of the home, son, Kenneth Brundage of Massachusetts, stepchildren, Dr. Jeff Rumley (Kathy) of Washington, Gary Rumley of Las Vegas, NV and Willard "Lee" Rumley III of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sister, Sue Stauffer (Chris Lambert) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, brother, Rodney Brundage (Jan) of Jackson Michigan, grandchildren, Tyler and Rachel Brundage, Davis Lane Rumley, Willard Lee Rumley IV, Reagan Rumley and Isabella Rumley.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to George H. & Laura E. Brown Library,122 Van Norden St., Washington, NC 27889.
