Are schools an "indoctrination machine" for socialism?

Polls are showing American parents are increasingly concerned by political indoctrination in the classroom. A mu;ti-national poll by a major French polling firm on the top concerns of parents about education found that the top concern of American parents is political and ideological bias in the classroom., Here in North Carolina. the Civitas poll found that a clear majority of NC parents are concerned about political indoctrination in the classroom.

With a recent Gallup poll finding that 65% of Democrats have a positive view of socialism and only35% had a positive view of free enterprise / capitalism, we need to look at the forces pushing some Americans to support socialism. A recent article suggests that the problem is our public schools becoming "an indoctrination machine for socialism"/

Parents should keep a close eye on cur curriculum in our public schools. , In Beaufort County, parents turned out to a standing room only level to protest a liberal social studies curriculum proposed by a teachers committee. The school board heard the message and stopped the adoption of that curriculum.

At the state level, officials put out general standards for curriculum at local schools. NC law gives local school boards final say on that. Some conservative states like.F;orida and Texas have eliminated "woke" textbooks, In North Carolina, our state school board has been dominated by ultra liberal appointees s,o they push a liberal curriculum

When any nation is at war, those not in uniform can either sacrifice, or work harder for more money to buy their many luxuries bought by their freedoms, so selflessly paid for by the non whining class - the patriots among us.

When one has to decide between paying rent, buying food and paying a doctor bill, the idealism goes out the window. Govern better.

Maybe not, but ... I would NOT bet on that one.

These three words: Social Justice Warrior generally stipulates academia, who can make life miserable for clear thinking young students with nimble minds, but are very careful NOT to attempt the literal practice of 'kicking anyone's ass,' who might disagree with them; just use their position of privilege to unleash their social justice warrior practices to punish.

Our Schoolboard and parents should read "Manufacturing Delusion" by Buck Sexton.
Meticulously researched and exceptionally written, Manufacturing Delusion is more than a book. It’s a tool to protect your mind and soul—an inoculation against the insidious methods of control employed by academia, media, big tech, and government.
We still have "Woke" and "DEI" infiltrated in our Beaufort Couty School Curriculum. Even in our math curriculum.
For two years a number of people have suggested looking at the "Hillsdale" social studies curriculum. Our liberal board will not even look at it. If you go online, you will see the many great tools offered by this institution (many for free) that presents information without revisionist history or liberal bias. Our board refuses to even look at it. By the way. It even comes with the lesson plans.

Socialism is having a minute because the oligarchs have everything and are reluctant to share more than crumbs with the middle and working class. Don't like socialism? Govern better. Problem solved.
