The PotashCorp-Aurora BCCC Foundation Golf Tournament, held on Oct. 16 at the Washington Yacht and Country Club, was a remarkable fundraising success, netting more than $16,000 that will be used for the sole purpose of providing emergency grants for students in financial need.

Mr. William Harris Wallace, age 69, a resident of 8373 Old 97 Road, Pantego, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. Mr. Wallace was born in Beaufort County on January 9, 1945 to the late William and Magdalene Harris Wallace.
