Please stay weather aware over the weekend for a possible Nor'easter which could form just off shore in South Carolina and begin moving Northwest next Wednesday and could provide a very wet and windy problem here in Beaufort County for about 36 hours.

Today, Governor Pat McCrory signed a proclamation declaring March 3-9 Severe Weather Awareness Week in North Carolina, cautioning North Carolinians to be on the lookout for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms as spring approaches.
