Hood, this is becoming an epidemic here in Beaufort County. The Town of Chocowinity has had 2 strikes in the last number of years; multiple fire departments in Beaufort County, both the Town of Belhaven, the City of Washington have had improprieties in governing, and we probably do not know the whole of it, just the tip of it.

We have initiated also Table Talk Radio on our very new sniradio.com . I hope to have more time for that medium after the election, where we eventually can provide our version of fresh Talk Radio for a few hours each day, beginning at 12:00 pm.

In the meantime, there will be outstanding music (a passion of mine), limited well crafted commercials, so as not to bore the public, but rather to inform, wit a growing list of melodies (we have around a thousand excellent songs in our inventory) that I like, and I hope our audience will as well.

John: You are right, I do hate corruption, and believe immutably in transparency so The People can see what is truly happening within the constraints of THEIR government.

When I see corruption within the ring-fence of what is, or should be Republican, I do operate a bit more strongly against such, simply because I expect much better, and, ultimately, if we will not police ourselves, why should we be allowed to govern The People?

The Democratic Socialists are a complete lost cause at this point, but, there are many good Republicans, where locally, the ones that are questionable should not be allowed to weigh down the rest that could make a good and tremendous difference going forward her in Beaufort County and in our Old North State.

I have just been notified that Ashley Woolard is yucking it up with his Facebook fans by creating AI drawn memes demeaning me as a serious issue driven candidate, while taking additional aim at Commissioner Hood Richardson, and by my association with the venerable Conservative Republican, demeaning my years of service to remake Beaufort County government into one not controlled by the RINOs and the RINO Whisperers.

All I can conceivably reckon is that Ashley believes that my issue driven campaign is pulling ahead with real Conservatives. I could be wrong here, but I am feeling the momentum swell as I talk to voters at the polls, answer their questions, and stand on my record as the only proven Conservative in this limited voting race to continue serving my constituents, those in the electorate that believe limited government, and transparency are dual partners for an exemplary self-governed society.

Personally, I do not yield my precious time to Facebook simply because it has been my experience that there is little knowledge or wisdom gained by those that traffic in memes, and other nonsubstantive nonsense, which is plentiful on the platform provided by Leftist to enslave the impulsive minds of those that cannot better spend their time otherwise.

Steve: I know I am pleading my political book here, but a large turnout would have helped me in the primary, and guess what, it would have helped Representative Keith Kidwell as well.

Furthermore, in the general election, a large turnout would, and will benefit my candidacy as the strongest Republican; the most knowledgeable candidate; the only proven Conservative in this race at this time, with a pristine voting record representing Conservative ideals.

RINO Hunter: You speak of the Cypress Landing being important, and it is; however ... Mostly for the RINOs that have infested our county commission for far too many years. That is the history of the collective Cypress Landing voting pattern: An affinity for RINO governing; wasteful spending, and higher taxes for all of Beaufort County.

One most important thing that I have learned in all my years of serving the public is that education is a most important tool to know what is real, and humility is an even greater tool to help one know when it is time to embark on that path to gain that greater knowledge to do what is Right and Republican.

Steve: I not been informed as to anything that is being done to benefit my campaign.

It would be nice if someone in the so called Victory Committee would keep me in the loop.

I do know that the RINOs and the RINO Whisperers on the Executive Committee have been working against me in this campaign, and against what Conservative ideals (for more than a decade noe) I have empirically represented for over a three decade now as a core Beaufort County Republican of the real variety, and as Beaufort County Commissioner for 26 years.

If the tide has turned to a favorable opinion of this indisputable Conservative Republican, I would like to know it, and what amends are being made to finally help, and STOP hurting my campaign.

It is October 26, 2026. The election is in one week; early voting started 1.5 weeks ago.

If something is being done, or has been done with some out of county, or out of state media group, I would like to know it.

Ms. Brinson offered to me information that she voted for me on Friday.

Then Ms. Brison explained to me why she voted for me, and honestly, it sounded like a fine radio ad as to why the public would well advised to vote only for honest and wise politicians. It certainly was one of the high points of my political day at Early Voting.

Ms. Brinson was a breath of fresh air for me, and I well appreciated our talk.

Thanks again Hood for your endorsement and the endorsement of your Conservative Republican Club. I would have attended the meeting, but my work life and my campaign gnaws at me for my wakeful time.

Also, I been told by an insider that what is left of the Executive Committee is actively supporting the the non incumbent, non proven conservative Republicans. What the inside failed to mention is that Steve Rader, an insider who has been active in the local GOP even longer than you and me, his family, and everyone that still recognizes Steve's abilities and his wisdom is fully in my camp as the ONE Proven CONSERVATIVE in this race for Beaufort County Commissioner.
